Ridge Footwear 8003 Men's Leather Air-Tac Mid Side Zipper Tactical Work Boots

I have owned 4 pairs of these boots. I always buy one pair a year because I like the feel of new soles and inserts. I am buying a pair today, and what a coincidence, tomorrow marks one year. I just recently purchased a pair of Magnum and Bates and they were horrible on my feet and legs. In fact, they made my knees hurt which was different for me. I work for UPS and I record around 22,000 steps everyday. These boots take a few days to stretch (especially up around the ankle/lower leg) but my feet love me for it at the end of the day. I pair them up with Darn Tough Hiker Micro Crew Cushion Socks and my feet don't sweat and they stay dry. I am very picky when it comes to boots. I have fallen arches/flatfooted so shoes in general don't fit me as well. These boots are the only ones I keep coming back to...5 times.

These boots finally gave up the ghost. But the lasted almost 5 years. I'v never had a better pair of boots that lasted so long. The souls split in front of the arch. They are the best product made. I'd get a second pair but i plan to retire in less than a year and I know the boots would out live the work.Thanks to the Ridge footware company for these boots.

Best boots I've purchased for less than $200. I have wide feet (15EE) and this is the only offering in my size in this price point. Not disappointed. The leather is nice, the nylon is nice, and they're neither too hot nor too cold. They shine up nice, too, if you're into that.

I purchased these for riding my motorcycle Oct 2013. I ordered them a size larger than my largest shoe to make sure I could where thicker socks. When they arrived they seemed to be two different sizes with the left one being smaller. I had to remove the insoles just to be able to wear them. Then after wearing them for a few hours my feet would be hurting. Very uncomfortable. After wearing them off and on for a month they have become much more comfortable and acceptable. The zipper allows me to put them on and take them off very quickly and with ease. Today I would give them 3+ stars but when they arrived I would only have given them 2 stars at best. Even with the lower cost I still cannot honestly recommend them. For a few more dollars I think you could get a pair that fits you and meets your expectations right out of the box. sorry

The fourth of I've owned. Comfortable and zipper design makes putting on and taking of much easier.

I began wearing this brand of boot when I worked as a policeman. I tried others but these are the easiest to get on and off. Now retired and tending a herd of alpacas I had to find this boot when my old ones wore out.
