I bought this to make molds and it's sturdy and works exactly how it's supposed to

I find I’m saying this about all the Bakers Depot molds I have, but they carry some of the most sturdy silicone molds out there. And the price is always unbeatable. So much so that I’m buying another set of these today, in the store is now listed as one of my favorites!

I read the reviews about the sides bowing out after pouring soap and I used four small bowls around the sides and my soap came out just great! Please see the pictures. This is an excellent mold. I have 16 ounces of soap in here.

I use this for soap making, both melt and pour, and cold process. After a year of pretty steady use/hand washing, they're still holding up pretty well.With that said, it is a cheap silicone mold. With heavy things (like soap), the edges bow out, and I have not yet found a liner with these exact dimensions to keep that from happening. For the price, it's a great deal, just very advised, your bars will not be perfectly even.

I made Bergamot Orange Soap for the first time and wanted to try a small batch to test it out. This was the perfect size without having to wait for s while loaf to cool down. It's not the most supportive mold, but I feel like it does the trick. Just don't over pour or it'll bulge on all four sides. It was easy to remove my batch and it was affordable.

These two make 6 for me. Gluten Free bread is notoriously hard to be sure the bottom bakes thoroughly. These allow for a smaller baking container to counteract that, still has a square shape for sandwich making, and takes up less room to store.

I make small soap batches when trying out a new formula or new ingredient. Previously I was using the Crafter's Choice 1504 mold (half the length of the 1501 mold). The Crafter's Choice is too sturdy for a small loaf - it is so stiff that getting the soap out is a real chore, and quite hard on my arthritic hands. These molds are absolutely wonderful. I have four and will likely buy more. They are sturdy enough to keep their shape and securely hold the soap, but much easier to un-mold than the 1504 mold. I absolutely love them. I have nothing negative to say about them.
