Easy to read, insightful, powerful
I loved this book so much. I am the wife and wanted to get insight and I really did, but more than that, I could really identify with a lot of what the author wrote. Her style is so easy to read, easy to identify with, and I truly hope she writes more in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this book.

Excellent
I am a curious betrayed wife who wanted to understand what the other woman was thinking and I had all the answers to my questions in this book. Ready to move on now

Relatable information for those who have been there.
I enterd into a relationship with a man and did not know he was married until almost a year later. I was totally devastated, but was already so emotionally invested ( we had plans to marry) that I stayed in the relationship. Now, over 3 years later he is still married and we are no longer together. Micalle's stories hit home with me and helped me to see things that I hadn't in a year of counseling. I urge any woman out there in this situation to read this book. But before that, I urge every woman out there to walk the other way, or just say NO to a relationship with a married man. IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!

TOO LENGTHY
If you are a woman who is the other woman, you SHOULD read this. Because your heart will almost always get broken. If you are a woman who has been betrayed by your man it will just trigger more insecurity; don't do this to yourself. Book is too long and probably needed a good editor.

great story
As I read this book I wept because I was almost reading my story. It was an eye opener and helped me deal with many feelings that stem from this kind of situation. It also opened my eyes to the fact that men play this game often and well. I finally understood that I was not an idiot for falling but naive for believing. Very well written book...

Pretty good
It was a good book. I felt I could relate to everything up until the point where the wife knew about the affair. I do like how the author talked to numerous "other women" and got their taken on their affair. I also liked the end where it talks about healing and letting go and moving on.

Wife vs. Mistress
Oh, my Gosh, this book was completely and truely amazing! As the wife who has suspected that her (lying) husband has been involved in a long-term affair, I wanted to know what the other woman was thinking! The author gives such great advise. For any woman who is still in love with her husband, feels that she is almost at her "ropes end," and wants to know how to handle her husband's affair, this book is excellent! I would absolutely recommend reading this book!

I was disappointed with this book
I was disappointed with this book. It does have interesting sections, and there is a clear and vivid account of her own affair, however i was really looking to the research sections and those on healing for insight and evidence based findings. The research in particular i found lacking in any clear basis, with no recognition of the difficulties in relation to data in this area, or evidence based findings and guidance. There are some interesting anecdotal stories, but also many generalisations which may or may not be relevant to individuals so overall i would say its heartfelt and means well, but disappointing in what it delivers.

An amazing book that really struck a cord with me
Having been 'The Other Woman' this book really resonated with me and helped me to see the situation for what it truly was. A lot of the things said to the mistress were verbatim what I have myself been told.A recommended read for anyone needing perspective on any side of a love triangle.
