DSP chip is a core component in the HID ballast. It is programmed to manage, control and maintain ballast’s power stability and efficiency. For this reason, Sportiva Ivory series ballasts rely on Microchip DSPs to ensure low error of programming, accuracy and stability can be achieved. 5-WAY PROTECTIONS: Sportiva Ballasts built-in protects it from, short circuit, Power shortage, Reverse polarity, Under load and over load protections. EMI FILTER: Electromagnetic interference or EMI, also called radio-frequency interference or RFI is disturbance that affects an electric circuit due to either electromagnetic induction or electromagnetic radiation emitted from an external source, that carries rapidly changing electrical currents, such as an electric circuit.
