This guitar is ok. It has the wrong tuning keys on it though. It is also way overpriced, and can be made for much less if you want one like it. Parts are commonly available and easy to find. This one also lacks the copper foil under the pick guard.

I like this guitar. Before I bought it, I was just another mid-level guitar player looking for my big break, but now I have transcended mortal skills to attain an ethereal ability to construct virtuoso solos in real time with songs I've never even heard. I knew it was special as soon as I took it out of the box; it literally levitated two feet off the ground and floated into my waiting hands. The fretboard morphed and shifted in my hands until it perfectly complemented my grip. I know, your probably thinking, "Man, this thing doesn't even have a tremolo bar in the pic, that trem bar is David's signature touch, the way he tucks it into his hand while thrashing the most intense solos, modulating the pitch perfectly with that tremolo" You would be right, there is no tremolo on the guitar. But after I held it for a few minutes, a tremolo bar grew OUT OF MY HAND, to perfectly fuse with the guitar. It is a little inconvenient, because I can't really put down the guitar, but I have learned that I don't ever really need to stop playing anyway, truly a small price to pay. Anyway, it was everything I expected for the price. Not more, mind you, but everything i expected.

I bought this guitar for my son and he likes it a lot. It has become his signature guitar. Great sounding machine! and a very nice build. Fender knnows...

It's a great guitar, the only reason it's priced so high is because it's a coustom shop signature, so fender basically made an exact (or close to it) replica of David's black strat, you can even get one with all his scuffs on it. You could make your own for less.
