BRASS Accents A09-P0634-609MAG 34 x 6" Magnetic Mount Kick Plate, Antique Brass Finish

First of all, it's a very nice item, but they miss aligned the magnetic backing so that it overlaps in one corner which means there is no magnet in the opposite corner. I emailed them to let them know and to ask what I should do. I really did not want to mail it back, but I wanted to know if it would affect functionality and be sure they'd stand by their product if it failed. All I got back was an automated response; therefore, I think their customer service is non-existent/sucks! Again, nice item it it arrives without flaws.

I just purchased this kick plate and it is absolutely stunning on our front door. I am extremely particular with what I put in and outside my home. This piece just made our entryway pop! In addition to it being a lovely piece, its also quite storng and sturdy. The magnetic backing allows the plate to stay in place, even when the door is slammed shut. If I didn't know any better, I would've assumed it was either placed on with a strong adhesive or drilled on to the door. However, if needed, I am able to pull the plate off to clean (or repaint) the door. Kick plates dont get much better than this!
