We really like the taste of these.

It's hard to find black walnuts in most grocery stores these days, and since they're a must in our family, we turned to Amazon. After reading some unfavorable reviews, we were hesitant, but there were enough favorable ones that we went for it and are glad we did. The walnuts received yesterday are fresh and have a wonderful flavor. Very pleased!

Great product

I could not find Black Walnuts anywhere in the grocery stores around me in the larger size packages I needed. These were packaged in the right size at a reasonable price. They were fresh and had the perfect taste for an old family Christmas recipe.

The Hammon's Walnuts never let you down! The only nut hated by kids ,but loved by adults!

I was truly disappointed. These nuts are expensive, but I've always wanted to try them because I grew up loving black walnuts. These were stale, mushy, and had absolutely none of the aroma characteristic of black walnuts. Won't buy again.

If you love black walnuts, you probably also understand how difficult they are to find and how even more difficult they are to pick out of their shells. My mother used to do that picking for HOURS every winter. Her pumpkin bread and cookies were always soooo good. I’ve never known why mine never tasted right. Enter Hammon’s American Black Walnuts. They were perfectly fresh and good. I didn’t get any little bits of shell. More importantly, they make things taste just like my mother used to make. I also fleet that they were a good price. Just wonderful!!
