Does the kit contain the switch assembly?

It looks like the switch assembly is the bag of items in the upper right-hand corner. If you have an old mag-lite, the assembly will be in several pieces when you remove it. This kit contains assemblies in a single piece, which replace the older style and fit it completely. But I'm not the seller of the item, so I could be wrong and then you'll be out $18.70 to fix an $11.00 flashlight. This really is a question the seller should answer.

I have a battery stuck in the front of my mini and I do not know how to remove it?

The stuck battery may due to leakage and that will corrode the flashlight barrel and switch. Could try removing both ends of the flashlight, then the bulb, then try Prying/pulling the end of the switch out (part that has the 2 small holes for the bulb leads). If you can pop that out you can try driving the main part of the switch and the battery out with a dowel or screw driver. Push towards the end of the barrel that you insert new batteries in. Clean the barrel out real good and put in a new switch.

Are the switches in this kit compatible with the LED mini Maglite?

I was not able to make the repair kit work on my sick magnilite. My plan b was to buy cree ultrafire through Amazon.
