Matrix Energetics: The Science and Art of Transformation

My First Successful Two-Point
My First Successful Two-Point...was a toilet. Three days into the February '09 seminar in Miami I realized I had one of those rooms the hotel staff steal from to properly outfit other rooms: no hairdryer, no remote, a coffee pot that belonged to a completely different model. A few attempts to restore the room's integrity failed, but who cared? I was so happy to have found Matrixland. It was everything and more than I could have imagined. However, at 4:20 am, halfway through the seminar I awoke to obstreperous gurgles coming from the bathroom. I had seen men working on the plumbing next door so I guessed what was happening. I sighed, got up, walked into the bathroom, turned on the light and, sure enough, the toilet sat there completely empty.Et tu? I asked. With an affirmative gurgle it spat towards the tub.Justice, Richard's daughter, had emphasized that one needs to bring Matrix technology into everyday life, that this kind of practice is the best way to prepare one's self for those recurring challenges that make life difficult. So, I separated my feet and picked my first battleground.Only, they said I had to believe in what I was doing. There I was, Two-Pointing a toilet. I did feel that warped, Matrix wobble, and yet, did I really believe my actions would result in a plumbing fix? We had been told belief is an important factor for success. Then I remembered: change the goal. I didn't need to "fix" this toilet, all I needed to do was get out of my head (that kept collapsing my experience into my own personal Groundhog Day--see quantum physics), drop into my heart, and allow a resolution to show up. I saluted my white friend, got dressed and went out to meet the sunrise and its creatures on the beach. About a half hour later, as I turned around to go back, reality (whatever) returned, and I reviewed the toilet situation. Since the hotel had been unusually unhelpful about the other room issues, my experience as a business traveler told me I could anticipate an upgrade; maybe a really nice one.The night person and I had become friends during our failed attempts to properly outfit my room. She was new (brand new) and I had the sense that the night shift took advantage of this and tortured her if she asked for something. This freed her up to suggest to the day Manager that the hotel had been particularly obnoxious towards one of its guests and she would like to offer an exceptional upgrade. She checked and gave me a key to their last oceanfront room, which happened to be on the same floor. The magic key to a room I really couldn't justify paying that much extra for actually worked, and I stepped into a divine space of beige, ocean and sky, and stayed there for 3 days.I consider this a classic Two-Point success, but the story didn't end there. For the past decade or so I would occasionally hum the Lighthouse Family's song "Ocean Drive," and daydream about one day living right on the ocean. It was all very Law of Attraction, and I had manifested some things in the past, I just never found it to be reliable. Less than a month after my first ME seminar, after returning to life waiting for spring in Massachusetts I found the apartment of my dreams on Craigslist Boston. It was up for about a minute, and I happened to be the first of three to see it.Just being first, though, didn't ensure we'd get the apartment as the owner wanted to decide which of the applicants would be best suited for the other 3 tenants in the building. This nerve-wracking process took more than a week! I was in quite a state when I learned we were the first choice as tenants. Upon hearing this news I also heard a familiar sound in the background: the bedroom toilet was gurgling uproariously. Not once had it ever made those noises in the three-plus years we slept next to it.Much love and gratitude goes out to Richard and his extended family. They have the most generous hearts I've ever encountered. Their knowledge has encouraged me to believe that I really do have the tools to follow my bliss, as Joseph Campbell so beautifully articulated. I have had more success stories since, and I'm sure many more to come, but I can't see how this first one can be topped!

Another skeptic is converted...
Lightning bolts shot down my arms and came out of my fingertips. My head expanded as each hair felt like it had taken on a life of its own, searching for its own universe. My spine forgot its reason was to support my body and started bending one way, then the other, like an abandoned "bendy" toy. Twenty years of stress and anguish somehow found an exit through my brain, which was struggling to comprehend what was happening. Finally my legs buckled under me and my body collapsed into the welcoming arms of a Matrix intern, who had seen this exhibition many times before and fortunately was more prepared than I was for what was to be a life-altering experience. As he gently lay me on the floor, laughing hysterically and more relaxed than I had felt in many years, I knew that the hands of Dr. Barlett had created something mystical .......I had heard Dr. Bartlett on the radio, and was interested enough to go to his website, and then order the book - I was somewhat skeptical about the whole thing and felt that I wanted to attend a seminar so that I could see for myself. I must admit, that I was a little uneasy enrolling for the seminar, as it made me feel that the book was just enticing you to attend the seminar. On the first day of the seminar, I told Dr. Bartlett (who is extremely "approachable" and available to anyone who wants to speak to him personally) I needed to feel his hands on me, as I needed "proof" that "something" was actually going on. The above description is what happened to me.I still don't know what hit me - but I told Dr. Bartlett at the time that I felt like you had instantly taken 25 years off my life. When I returned to my seat, my new friends asked what had happened as my face had "softened" - and continued to do so over the next two days. More interestingly, my 22 year old daughter thought I had "face work" done while I was in Seattle - and relatives in England thought I had been at the Botox (something I've never done). The only problem is that it only happened on one side of my face - I now have no choice but to come to another seminar in the hopes that you can "fix" the other side of my face.I realize this is supposed to be a book review, but I felt compelled to relay the above incident as it actually happened - I am not a doctor, or a healer of any type, and have no connection to Dr. Bartlett. But I did read the book from cover to cover, several times. I found it easy to understand and had no problem duplicating the technique with what I felt were minor successes, but could have perhaps been wishful thinking. I am only giving it four stars as I think there could have been more instructional photos. However, having read the book and having now been to all three levels of the seminar, I DO understand that, crazy as it seems, there really IS NOTHING TO LEARN!! Once you get that, you get the whole concept - and Dr. B. would be the first one to say that he has made it all up!! Name me an evangelist who would DARE to say that.I am anxiously awaiting the next book, which I understand is in the works...and I will go to more seminars. As others, many of them M.D.s have said - there is definitely something to this, whether or not we understand what it is. All you disbelievers should suspend your disbelief for just long enough to give it a try - I did - and look what happened to me!

love this book!!
I love this book bc I love studying energy and how to heal the body. it definitely is complex and not the easiest read, but I still recommend it. I feel it can be done a lot easier with intention, but you need to have that clarity first by becoming no one and nothing.

Reconfiguring our consciousness holograms for healing
What is this Matrix, Richard is referring to? This term is suspiciously similar to the legendary movie of the same name. He describes it "as living crystalline energy that is the basis of our bodies" including our tissues and bones. It is both receptive to quantum phenomena and it is inextricably associated with human consciousness - indeed entangled with it, in some way.For me, the concept of 'quantum', though part of the everyday lexicon of science, still continually confounds and needs some explaining. And this is part of the problem, as I believe Wittgenstein first properly addressed it - about meaning. Quantum cannot be explicated. Yet, according to mystics, it can be 'imminenated' deep within us by connecting with the universal energy field. This is passed off as pseudoscience or woo-woo by the likes of James Randi, and possibly left to a generation of Harry Potterites amongst us to slide in and explore further! However, might it be the case our left-brained, material-addled and over-monetised world doesn't appear to be conducive to holding a quantum healing frame? Thus Richard spends a good while refreshing the reader, in fact, all of Part 1, inflecting his take on quantum principles (or those scientists think they have determined through rather devious means! Concepts like the wisdom of 'Wei/ Wu Wei' i.e. the art of non-doing, or getting out of the way of one's ego, are firmly grasped as major insights into Matrix Energetics.Richard's primary style of communication is technical and imaginatively playful, similarly, say, to Bandler (of NLP fame), who technologised the Self-dev industry in the 1970s/80s. For example, the poetic nature of angelic guides Richard contacts become 'virtual reality forces'. Slain in the spirit (as a spiritual experience) has been suggested directly corresponds to his trademark technique, matter-of-factly given the title of 'two pointing'.Though a cogent philosophical treatise about the zero-point field is never ever concluded (Richard regularly admits he can't and doesn't see the need to want to!). The read concentrates on how quantum phenomena can be harnessed for their practical applications. Nevertheless, on his website, a piece-to-video delivers an attempt at a guiding explanation of the Univeral Field of Oneness (of goodness and intent) as: a) building certain intent around a concept or idea; b) surrendering to the Universe flowing 'through' or 'as' you.; c) letting the vehicle you've created "create more liken unto itself, and so It keeps drawing more unto itself."Richard is a wizard and trailblazer for magical powers! (resembling one in appearance now). He has devoted a serious amount of time and commitment to developing his remarkable gifts. The numerous testimonials towards the close would suggest transmission value can also be had in attending one of his seminars. Rhonda Byrne seems to think he's cracked the Secret, along with many other notables in the Alt-medicine, New Thought and Empowerment fields.

Mind onto matter
If onlty it could be so easy! Another excellent example of mind over matter in the field of healing. A good read.
