I've been playing with this for the past day & having so much fun. Lots of colors & all the tools I needed to start felting.I have started a couple of projects already. My skill level is pretty low but the kit is easy enough for me to use. I can see how I can get better using these tools.There are several YouTube videos that show you how to start. If you are more advanced then this kit has plenty of the basic items you need to felt.

This is a decent little kit, especially for beginners. As others have mentioned, there is a strong plastic/chemical smell. I've had the case out of the bag for a few days and it seems to be improving. Also as others have mentioned, the roving is definitely a sample of each color. You could possible create one small animal out of one color. If you use multiple colors in one project, you will get more out of it. I am not, however, a big fan of the wool. I did not like working with it - it was not the smooth, easy-to-felt wool I am used to. I have attached pictures of the wool in use - I created the gnome fully from this kit (used most of the grey and white for this little guy); the bear was created with other wool, but the yellow tummy and bottom of the feet was from this kit. Included tools are decent; the clippers is not a high quality and doesn't line up correctly unless I manually correct it.

This kit is so easy to use, you don’t need a guide! First time felting and I already feel like a pro. If you still aren’t sure what you’re doing or how to use some needles, youtube has some quick and easy guides too. It really helps ease some stress in my life. If I feel overwhelmed I can just take a break, pull out this kit, and jab away until I’m satisfied.

I’m in love 🥰 with all the colors, I’ve made my family in to diy junkies I think something to let the time go faster my children are pleased the creations are endless possibilities.

The kit is a nice assortment to start needle felting. However, there is a pungent plastic smell from the containerand the accessories that is overwhelming! I emptied out the tools and filled the container with baking soda (to alleviate the odor) and even that did not work! I hope in time exposed to air, it will dissipate, but I have my doubts.The odor is incredibly awful and is the worst plastic smell I have ever encountered.

Kit was very well packaged, even though it’s set up for beginners the only thing I would have liked in the pack is maybe a list of what each tool was but other than that it was a great buy!

I've never needle felted before and this kit has everything I needed to get started. There is a nice variety of colors and they are very pretty. I appreciate that there are many needles included as well as the felting mat. I didn't think I would use the finger and thumb protectors, but after I poked myself several times, I decided they are definitely necessary! The plastic eyes, bead pins, and cell phone lanyards are nice extras, although I'm not sure if I'll ever use them. Unfortunately, the snippers were useless, as the blades didn't line up to cut properly. Not that big of a deal to me, since I have plenty of other craft scissors to use. The storage box was a nice addition, but I ended up using a large art box to accommodate the wool and mat as well. Finally, there IS a strong odor, which I believe is from the finger/thumb protectors. Overall, I like the kit as a starter. I already need more of the basic colors as there is not enough to make any larger projects. Even with the odor and the broken snippers, I recommend this to anyone who wants to try out needle felting.

it has everything as listed, and about two of each colors. it was easy to make a little owl, using a yarn base then poking it into the yarn.the box of supplies does smell, and it comes from the finger guards. if you dont like the smell of leather, that might be a problem then.
