what voltage does the sharpener use

I Purchased my sharpener after reading this by Paul W. I also purchased mine from Amazon UK and not the US Amazon, Yet I still got 110v. I suggest you contact the supplier for accurate voltage.

Is this 110 or 220 volts and does it come with a uk plug?

It comes with an english plug, 220 volts and in my opinion well worth buying, remember that english knives are honed down to 20 degrees and this machine tempers them down to 15 degrees. It takes a little time and patience to get the desired result, but is well worth it, re-sharpening is very quick and easy to do hope this answers your querie.

Is this for 15 degree knives only? Not European 20 degree as well?

if you use it will sharpen to 15 degree and if you follow the instructions you will find your knives are much sharper, it takes time but is well worth the effort. It is designed to alter your knives to 15 degree which is much sharper than the european 20 degree, I have found my knives very sharp and easier to handle.

Works brilliantly - if you follow the instructions!

My collection of old kitchen knives are sharper than they have ever been. The paper-cut test is unbelievable... the cuts are so clean. Dicing onions, slicing meat etc is a breeze. The only thing with this tool is you actually do have to read the instructions and take your time. I have seen a few reviews on the internet complaining that this tool doesn't work, but those people plainly either didn't read the instructions or didn't follow them. Do what it says in the book and you will have the sharpest knives ever.

A brilliant knife sharpener, well worth the money.

The sharpener was just what the advert said I have sharpened all the kitchen knives, took some time because they were English and had a 20 degree angle. Since sharpening the knives have retained their cutting edge and seemed to glide through any veg or meat with the easiest of force, even my partner loves them. I would recommend this product to anyone, it’s not cheap but the difference is there to bo seen.

BEWARE - This is not suitable for UK Sockets

Does not have a UK plug. Unusable in UK as delivered. I noted the other reviews but the supplier's description advises this is "suitable for UK sockets" - This is WRONG. IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR UK SOCKETS.
