Bumble BeeSnack on the Run BBQ Chicken Salad with Crackers Kit, 3.5 oz (Pack of 12) - Ready to Eat, Spoon Included - Shelf Stable & Convenient Protein Snack

I bought a 3 pack of the chicken salad snack kits. They came in the white cushion pack, sealed together in a plastic wrap. The boxes looked a little but bent, but I figured they were in a package inside of the packaging. Two of the three were damaged, but I didn't find out until I was at lunch at work, two days in a row. The box was closed but the seal was open on the inner can, the salad congealed and had some wierd black mold around the top. I live in Florida, things go bad fast here on the sun, but I don't know when the packages got damaged, but I"m sure the heat didn't help it. I've ordered the tuna salad kits in the past and have had no issues. I"ve bought this product before at the grocery store and thought this was an easy purchase. It was disappointing, to say the least, and thankfully the crackers were good, so I at least got to eat something for lunch. I was extremely not happy with this purchase.

Maybe it is just me, but if I was on a desert island and a box washed up on shore, my dream would be that it would be filled with boxes and boxes of these Bumblebee Snacks. I could then survive forever, very happily...LOL. I am almost addicted to them. I LOVE the flavor, the convenience and whenever I can't think of what's for lunch (sometimes even breakfast) I go to the cupboard for one of these little gems. Don't ever want to run out! These are MY perfect "go-to" snack and I NEVER get tired of them. And at 300 or so calories, they can be added to just about any diet without being fattening. Just MY favorite snack, ever!

I was hesitant to purchase a case of them without ever having tried this flavor before. I took the chance & have zero regrets!Very yummy with a little kick of spice. These are perfect for me when I'm hungry but can't have an actual meal. Also a great late night snack!My expiration date isn't until next year; so that's a plus but these will be long gone before then. 😊

I do not know how to describe this HAM salad- acidic salt or salty acid. Not edible. Avoid at all costs. Company needs somebody new to taste new products - people with intact taste buds. I usually like sour foods, no this one is like drinking salty vinegar. My mouth gets sour taste only from thinking about it. Too much hustle to return. I will mix it into potato saladd or lettuce saladS instead of dressing and will add olive oil.

IF you've ever tried & liked this product, for FL residents, its usually cheaper on Amazon than at Grocery Store or Walmart by btwn a dime - 25cents!I wont comment much on rating product as a Tuna Salad product tho ... I find that is a most subjective experience: it has some 'crunch' to it that I enjoy (carrots, maybe water chestnuts?), creamy, not too salty or otherwise spiced up .... I just enjoy it. Its a PERFECT small portion for me if/when my blood sugar is low &/or ehrn I really just dont feel like eating .....I CAN talk myself into eating this very small amount on a couple crackers & be good to go! The little can is about size of inside palm of a hand, has an easy pull tab made of foil, so no sharp tin can edge, a little package of 5 crackers and the teeny spoon. Is this gourmet? NO Is it convenient, portable, small space requiring, tasty, and decent all-in-one snack ? Definitely! At under $1.25, I buy a case of these every otger month, & keep a box in my purse at all times! Also insure there's one in my elderly diabetic mother's purse as well ;) This product comes in a chicken & a tuna salad & altho both taste very similar, I personally prefer the tuna version best.

I really like this addition to Bumble Bee's product offerings. They have the best tuna and now ... the best chicken salad snack! I am, however, bummed by the HUGE price increase as of this last week in August 2017. In fact--although I'd like it to be a permanent addition to my purchases--that won't happen unless the prices return to reason. Bumble Bee, how about working on a deal with Amazon.com for your entire line of BB Snack On the Run? I know I'm not the only customer l loving this line ... a Back-to-School special, or a Thank-You-Customers special or a You-Deserve-A-Little-Something-Extra ... for the stress of day-to-day living in 2017?P.S. to BB: Did you notice how many customers are wanting to send the products of this line to our fighting men and women? Maybe you could do something to help that happen for every deserving member of the military ... just a thought.

I brought a pack as a side snack since I haven't had these before. After trying it I was pretty disappointed in a few areas. First of all the chicken salad is way more sweater than I thought it would be and that pretty much ruined the flavor. Secondly, I know this is a chicken salad but there were too many celery chucks inside, and on top of that they were not crunchy but soggy. Third of all the crackers provided inside each pack was great and I wish they just sold these crackers by themselves. The issue with that is there was way more chicken SALAD than there were crackers so you would be left with around one-third of the chicken salad when you were done with your crackers. Overall it's a hit or miss kinda snack for me but I won't be buying these again.

As a college student ready to go foods are a must with my busy schedule. This was basically my lunch everyday my first semester in college. It definitely doesn’t beat homemade or store bought chicken salad. The celery tastes pickled but the chicken taste fine. Not too salty. Great source of protein though!
