If you live alone and plan to use it for yourself, practice with it before storing it. I'm 82 with weak upper arm strength. The only way I could use it was to sit in a chair and place the handle of the device on my thigh, pressing the mask down with my face, after it was completely compressed, I can lift my head, still holding the collapsed device against my face and pull the handle, causing the suction.If anyone has found an easier way to do this, please post it, because I'd love an easier way.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought a home kit years ago. Thank goodness I've never had to use it. I told myself to remember to bring it along when we travel, but I always forget to! So, I decided to get these two portable kits for me and my son's cars. I have seen a lot of videos about how this product saves lives, and I wanted to have one on-the-go for peace of mind. I have tested the home kit, and it seems easy enough to use during a stressful moment.

Purchased because with small grandchildren, as well as older adults at our home often. Great peace of mind to have close at hand. We encourage our moms to have them in their homes in case they choke and are alone. My daughter keeps hers in her diaper bag in case one of the babies choke while the are out at friends house or restaurant.

Appears well made and we'll thought-out. I wish I'd had this when I was a volunteer EMT years ago. I pray I never need to use it, but grateful to have it

haven't used it but can't put a price to life saving tools, i'm a first responder i carry it in my patrol car everyday.

This is a lifesaver product. Hopefully I will never have to use it but it’s good to know it’s there. Endorsed by the medical and rescue community. It’s basically a thin plastic hand pump with a one way valve and exhaust. It goes on a mouth/nose cover which is also thin plastic with a soft seal. You get the pump, 1 child cover and 1 adult cover. Not sure if they can be reused. This comes in a plastic case. Cost to make this has to be under 3 dollars. The selling price is extremely high considering the quality and build material. Will be returning it now that I could see it and probably order another brand more in line with the quality level you are purchasing. I recommend this type of unit to have in your home, but not at this price.

This is one of the best medical product i have bought! Family and I were at the park and since i carry this item in my truck we were able to assit a family. There child was choking! This item saved his life!
