Worked great for painting miniatures
Bought these to help my aging eyes to paint table top wargaming miniatures with the hopes they would save me form giving up on one of my hobbies and they did.I tried different types of magnifying devices to help but didnt help due to poor depth perception while using them. These solved that problem not only was I able to see better detail I was actually able to paint 15mm minis with some good detail.

Quality & price
I work in 2 offices as a hygienist and needed a second pair of loops without the price tag. You have to play with it to get it right for you, it takes a minute to adjust to your liking. For this price I'm getting an extra one.

Not good for dentistry
The clarity of the loupes is good, but the working distance is very very short. I am a registered dental hygienist and these loupes do NOT work for dentistry. They are nice loupes apart from the fact that the working distance is ridiculously short.

Excellent Backup
These are great for the price! Very lightweight. They just need a better drawstring to tighten them. The loop often falls off on one side and nearly drops these on the floor. Great deal to have a backup pair!

pupil adjustment gears stripped on first adjustment.
adjustment knob for pupil spacing very poor quality - skips gears - one side moves and other side has to be manually pulled into place. gave them away.

Works
I'm a registered Dental Hygienist that needed an affordable interim loupe b4 I ordered the expensive loupes. It pairs well with the clip in light. Lightweight.

For the price, these loupes are pretty darn good.
I've owned many pairs of loupes through my time, I have given some old expensive adjustable pairs to my wife, a friend here or there, I have mostly custom fit non adjustable pairs now, three different magnifications at work, and really have no complaints from those very expensive, but necessary pieces of equipment. So when I saw these, and the price, with the decent reviews, well, I just wanted to try them, just to use for electronics soldering and such. When I got them, I opened them in front of a few colleagues, and we all tried them on with amazement at how well the vision was.....for this price. Next thing you know, they are getting the link, and likely have friends and family in mind for gifts, and possible cheap back ups. I would have to say, in a pinch, these loupes would do very well in a clinical situation with an attached light. They would more than pay for themselves in a day if your primary magnifiers had a malfunction, or got lost. Would they hold up to day in day out wear and tear, not sure, are the lenses glass or plastic? Not sure. But the clarity was shocking, and the focal length is pretty spot on for me, as well as those who tried them on. For the price I paid for these, I'm pretty impressed.
