Great bike light
This is a great light especially for the money. I have many lights even a imalent dx80 (32000) lumens and this is pretty accurate on the 1000 lumens output. It realistically shines about 50-60 feet for useable light in biking to see rocks or divets etc. It shines prolly 150-200 decently and bc it has a shallow reflector will disperse more light for better riding and not give a tunnel view output. I think you need at least 40+ feet of light to be comfortable riding in the woods and it does that. Very well built and when riding hard the mount didn't spin the light, but I had the mount very tight also. Solid light only negative are the button is too sensitive and two they should have had a lockout so no accidental turns on if you carry in your backpack or seat pack since you cannot just unscrew cap slightly as alternative. The batteries are decent and I haven't push the limits of use but easily did 3 hrs without an issue. My buddy bought a cheapo 500lm (realistically 350lm) 15.00 dollar light and in an hour it was unusable for riding. If they just added a lock out I don't think u could find any real downside. But to me well worth the money if you really need to see when riding at night and not just a light so others can see you like a curiosity light then this will do it. I also use a headlamp for head movements when I want to track my dog when he comes with me but the bike light by itself will easily do what I need if I don't use headlamp.

Quality product
I actually bought this not for a bike but for my snow-blower. I purchased this particular product because it can be swiveled left to right when mounted to horizontal handle bars. Since I mounted it to the vertical frame of my snow-blower I can swivel it up and down as well as left to right. And since it's waterproof it works perfectly for a snow-blower. Just remember to put the rubber cap back on the charging port before using it. It is extremely bright. Standing at my garage it easily lights up the end of my driveway about 75 feet away. I charge it after each use so I'm not sure if it achieves the 10 hour runtime or not but I noticed no dimming after over an hour of use at full brightness. It is solidly made and has a nice heft to it. It attaches and detaches easily. In fact I have found myself using it as a handheld flashlight on several occasions The mount holds the light firmly and there was no shaking of the light despite the fact that it is attached to something with a running motor. I highly recommend this well made product.

Don't leave it on a bus
I just got this light earlier this week and I was excited about it. I have a longer ride that might take 1.5-2 hours in the dark and possibly in the rain. This light looks promising to calm my battery life anxiety. Unfortunately the whole light just broken off on the first morning bus ride to my office (see attached picture of the remnant of the holder). Apparently the bumpiness of a 40 minutes bus ride on an interstate highway is too much for the holder to handle.I believe this could be a great winter light, just not suitable for mixed bike/bus (or car) commute.<update>The seller is very easy to work with and worked really hard to get the problem solved. This looks like an one off defect on the holder. I'll try a new one and see if works better.</update><update2>The issue was satisfactorily resolved. I got a replacement unit and it works nicely. It's not popping off during the bus ride; the light is bright and long lasting, still working strong after 4-5 hours in mixed flash/high mode. The light angle is wide to make riding in the dark easy. I would give it 4 if not for the quality issue in first unit.</update2>

Excellent
Wide beam also has depth. With the beam aimed straight ahead I can see objects and pedestrians on the left and right side of the road and on the sidewalks. On unlit streets the low beam is more than adequate but the high beam provides illumination equivalent to a car so I just want to use the high beam unless I need to conserve the battery.I have not tracked battery charge time but it is several hours. If I were going to ride at night a lot I would buy and mount a second light as a back up.On dark, unlit streets and the strobe is too intense. In areas with some street light the strobe is fine.Easily installs and stays in place.Well made. On off switch is touch sensitive so light cannot be stored in pocket or baggage. I leave it on the bike. The best bike light illumination I have ever had.

Poor mounting screws
I am lowering to one star. I was able to glue in the screws after they stripped (previous review), and use for a few more months. Unfortunately now the light won't even charge. There is no light when I press the button, and no light when it is charging. It is dead.Mounting screws stripped. I know it was a bumpy road but they stripped from vibration and the light fell off. I am on a road bike too, not even a mtn bike. Light is great. Very bright.

Great, sturdy, long lasting light for riding in the dark and a strobe mode for daytime visibility.
I'd expected this light to be good judging from the reviews and it is. It's bright and lasts at least as long as the manufacturer claims. I wanted to fully discharge the battery upon arrival and then give it a full charge so I took the light to work with me and left it on. The light stayed on all day on the bright setting - over 11 hours. When it finally did go off I switched it on again several times as it would come on for a minute or so each time before shutting off. Very impressive light. It projects a nice beam and is solidly built. Nothing about the light seems cheap to me. The on/off button has a quality feel with no slop in its action, the charging and USB output ports are well covered with a tight-fitting recessed rubber flap and the case is nicely machined aluminum. The mounting bracket seems sturdy as well.I bought this because I train in the dark before work and am completely satisfied with it.

Product is ok…service is atrocious
The light is bright and works well. Unfortunately my back cover broke(The waterproofing ring) so now it is useless on the bike. I ask for a replacement for the back cover and I go the following; “ Your product delivered on 07/19/2021. (41 days ago)We cannot accept your return request According to amazon.ca return policy”They do not take the time to read the emails they get. I simply want a replacement back cover. Not a return…So now I have a $60 paper weight…
