Once you get the app downloaded on your phone, it works pretty great! Camera does NOT work well at night, as the headlights arent bright enough to help, but thats really all we could note as a negative-Drives on road, grass, low rocks all very easily- moves really fast and the controls are very responsive!Headset was tough to look at, possibly just due to the phone we were using, VR style not really our thing.

Very fun. Had to uninstall the app and start again to get the camera to work but it works great. The only thing that would be nice to have is to control the speed. Its either fast or stop.

Really upset over the completely useless app and camera- would give 0 stars for that alone.Honest review of the regular RC functionality:Truck is pretty durable and has powerful dual motor drive (front and rear axles are on separate motors) provides great 4 wheel traction and good battery life. Turning Radius is poor but does prevent roll over from over steering and is very suitable for outside “off-roading “ Speed control is either full on or off, there is no variation.

Bought this for my son and he loves it. He is kinda iffy about the VR headset but I think he just needs to get used to driving the truck with VR headset on. He loves sticking my phone in the remote and driving it around the house chasing the dog (or his brother). Overall the truck is built to last from what I have seen, has great battery life, and contrary to other reviews I found the turning radius and speed of the truck great!The truck itself when turned on creates an Ad-Hoc wireless network that when connected via your mobile device and you have the app installed broadcast the video feed. I have used other RC similar and while those felt gimmicky, this does not. Highly recommended!

Tons of fun! This little truck takes a huge beating. My kids loved the VR feature which made this moderate sized RC feel full-sized. They wasted no time launching the truck off of jumps and through some rough terrain. It held up pretty well and came out with only minor scratches. Though simple in construction, the shocks and tires are tough and really replicate a real truck’s movements. The headlights are an awesome touch and the battery, though small in appearance, holds a charge for a decent amount of play time

I bought 2 of these for my sons. The truck is decent but the app for the camera does not work. I tried using an iphone xs max and iphone xr and 3 ipads also my galaxy note 10. The app will not recognize the wifi being connected to either truck. I made sure only one was on at a time and I tried deleting the app and reinstalling to try again

It's about what you would expect for the price. Goes through thick grass pretty good and is obviously faster on the pavement. Very wide turns in the grass due to the uneven surface. It's slightly faster then a kids power wheels in high speed. Camera is ok, freezes often. Battery has lasted a good 10-15 on a full charge so far. Shocks are good. Batteries came with it but we're kind of hidden in the bottom of the styrofoam.

Bought this RTR f150 with the RTR RC Mustang. I was not disappointed by either. This RC truck is rechargeable has its own little built in cam with the use of an app can give you a unique VR RC driving experience weather using VR goggle that’s included fits most phones or if you attach your phone to the controller. The truck it self is light and durable has a great deal off wheel travel with a scaled off-road suspension from Rocks branches and mulch to regular road surface. Note both RTR RC vehicles can be used simultaneously without any frequency interruptions and the truck can drive over the car and keep on going pretty cool to watch. The battery pack went continuously for about 15-20 mins very impressed by the speed and handling of this truck. It’s very responsive to the controls and come with some nice driver options using you phone and connecting up to the truck. Definitely is a funhaver
