Hard Core AB Wheel with Foot Straps and Hand Grips For Multiple Exercises To Strengthen Core And Engage Both Upper And Lower Body

I'm a fitness professional so I need no convincing about the benefits of core strengthening. The problem is finding a good ab wheel to get the job done. I knew I wanted a wheel I could use with my feet as well as arms, and I started with the Lifeline power wheel. What a disappointment. I got two wheels, both had the same design flaw where if you tightened down the allen screws to secure the pedals they would strip out and not hold the pedals in place. This happened after a few days use of the first wheel, and immediately with the replacement. I thought I would just do without but nothing else I did could replace the burn and rapid strengthening effect of the wheel so I began to search for a higher quality wheel. What I found were numerous other brands that were exact replicas of the Lifeline design with the same flaws. I checked them out and found reports of the same issue I experienced with the stripping allen screws. I feel certain that these poorly designed wheels would have more poor reviews except that many people buy them and never use them enough to see the flaw. Anyway, after looking a while I found this wheel, the P90x Hard Core Ab Wheel. I was hesitant to buy it because I could not find a review anywhere, but I checked out the company's other products and they all had good reviews so I took a chance. This wheel works and doesn't have design flaws. The pedals attach with screws through holes in the metal bar, so there is no way for the screws to strip out the plastic, and even if that ever were to happen you could simply reattach them with a bolt and the pedals would be held in place by virtue of the bolt going through the metal rod. Finally!!! I never thought I would be so happy to find a working ab wheel with pedals, but I am, because the workout you can get with this device is unlike any other. Look no further, this is the only wheel on the market that I am aware of that actually functions as intended.

It feels very sturdy. Works great as an ab roll out...however I think there is a flaw with the foot straps . I can't get my feet in with my sneakers on..I wear size 9 sneakers

When I received the product most of it seems fairly sturdy and of good quality. When I opened the package for the handles however I found that one of the handle's clip to hold it in was broken. Seeing as this is an ab wheel with very little parts and things to worry about I feel that this is a fairly large problem with quality control. I ended up taking a piece of wood to hold the handle in place and really besides the handle everything else seems to be as expected so if you get one that has all of the parts correct I would expect it to be a great product.

I think it is a very good product-works as advertised. You will get a workout! My only issue is that I have size 11 feet with a D width. So my shoes are nearly too big for the large black Velcro strap on the front of pedestal/footrest for the front portion of the shoe. I think they could have been a little more generous with the length of the Velcro straps. It's a tight fit with me nearly running out of the Velcro to secure the strap- hence my 4 stars.P.S. If you never used one of these it's quite fun (really) strapping them on the first time and positioning for various exercises.

I thought that when you bought something under prime that it meant free shipping on returned item. Well it doesn't so read the fine print before buying this item. I didn't feel that the item was worth the kind of monies that they are charging. Buyer beware.

I'm getting back into shape (lifelong athlete who's lost the extra 20lbs fat) so I'm continually expanding my workout routines. With focus on ABs and after reading articles and viewing YouTube videos, I decided it was time to get an AB wheel. I bought the standard smaller diameter double wheel here on Amazon. After my first workout, my ABs were sore so I was sold. I researched more and found articles and videos on the versatility and range of exercises possible with an AB wheel with pedals. Searched here on Amazon and chose the P90X Hard Core AB Wheel. I've used the wheel a few times and I'm very happy with how sturdy the wheel is and how smooth the travel on hardwood floors. I have greatly expanded my AB workouts. I also took the suggestion of another Amazon P90X buyer and leave a pair of my old sneakers resident in the wheel.

the wheel arrived with a metallic broken piece, i was abel to "fixed" it using tape and lot of imagination to avoid the return process.. works as expected but its not a begginer's item, you must be fit already to use it

First off, I'm not into the P90X stuff so, I didn't buy it for the name.This AB Wheel is easy to put together and is much better than the Lifeline Power Wheel which I had also owned, but fell apart.So, the AB Wheel works just like any other AB Wheel.I guess my only complaint would be is that the wheel or tier is hard plastic and I wish it was more like a tri-cycle tier.
