Works great! Seems well-made, and is fast. Weird texture on plastic.
Works great! I needed a laptop for college, and was kind of worried about buying one because all of the ones my family has bought in the past six years have started having random problems which seem to be due to cheaply assembled hardware. This one has lasted through 4 months of college so far, and I've had no problems. It is plenty fast, though not super for gaming when intense graphics are in play. Probably games that are easier on the graphics would be fine, but I haven't tried that much. I do a lot on the internet for work as well as college, and I watch YouTube and Vudu and other TV sites a lot. No problems there. My only real problem with it is that I don't like the texture on the "lid". Thin sort of grooves that capture the oils from your fingers and leave it looking smudgy with lots of fingerprints. As soon as the warranty expires I'm going to sand it, and maybe spray paint it depending on how it looks after sanding.

Good laptop and fast boot
So far so good. My old Asus laptop still works fine but the screen frame came apart. This one boots and runs faster.

Great buy
Haven’t used it much yet, but so far I really like it.

Malfunctioning after less than a year. Battery problems.
I like that it has a wide screen, Windows 10, and a 10 key numerical pad. I do not like that there is no “End” key! Also mine began having severe problems after less than a year of kind use. It is currently in Texas after receiving an RMA for warranty repairs. Wasted several hours on the phone with tech support and spent $23 on a computer box with padding to ship. (They paid shipping) Now I’m waiting a few weeks to see if they can replace my battery which would suddenly short out and kill the power each time I started the computer on battery power.

Lemon
This thing randomly shuts down all the time even when it is first turned on (meaning, it isnt from overheating). Asus computers used to be good, this one is a lemon.

So light!
I wanted a laptop that wasn't too heavy as I use it when I travel for work. At 4.5 LBS this is perfect. Sleek with a quick response.
