SMARTSILK Hypoallergenic Cotton Duvet in White (Queen)

I suffer from allergies and asthma and it was time to replace my bedding. Smartsilk's duvets were recommended from the asthma and allergy friendly website and since I was suffering so badly with breathing at night, I purchased a new Queen duvet. I don't like an especially heavy duvet and I like one that breathes, so I had delayed this purchase for awhile not being able to find the perfect duvet.I love my new duvet! It's comfortable, and has helped my allergies diminish overall! The duvet arrived quickly and was packaged well. It's washable and high quality, definitely worth the price. Highly recommended.

We really like this comforter. It allows ventilation, so we don't feel too hot under it. I have allergies, and the comforter seems to help it.It's not a very thick comforter, so you might want to add another layer in the winter.

After what seemed like a search to the end of the Internet and back to find the best duvet for preventing dust mites in our sleep environments, I decided to purchase 2 of these smart silk duvets. We try to keep a natural sleep environment with few toxins and try to avoid dust mites due to asthma in our family. These duvets just arrived and in taking the first one out of the package, I held it up to the window and most of the baffles had no silk filling at all. It was distributed VERY unevenly, so much so that I figured that I got seconds and that it was a defect... Until I opened the second one and it was more of the same poor quality and empty baffles. I am in the process of trying to have smart silk address the issue....it does seem to be a defect and will update my review with any outcome. Based on this, I wouldn't recommend at this point in time.
