Nicely made saddle
So far I'm very pleased with this Aussie saddle. It appears to be well-made and should hold up. It's very comfortable, and I like that it does NOT have the overgirth that so many Aussie saddles have. I do think it's kind of a bad joke that the girth that is supplied with it is so short though. It's a 20". I had to order a 30" to fit the little Arab gelding I ride. So, another $40 spent to make it work for me, but overall, I love it. It's nice that the stirrups are made to just slide out of the holders if you get hung up in them while falling. Thankfully that hasn't yet been a issue! It's good-looking and fits me well, thanks to their online fitting chart.

Back in the saddle
A former novice dressage rider, at 64 I'm now converting to natural horsemanship training and riding and a more relaxed seat. My first impression riding in this saddle was, "Wow! It feels like it would be really hard to fall off." This design also fits our 13-hand, round pinto mare, which we use to teach children. I'm planning to switch to metal safety stirrups rather than the ones that come standard with this saddle and think that the youngsters as well as my husband and I will be best equipped for the unexpected jigs and jumps.

ACTHA-2014 NC champion pleasure horse loves riding Aussie
delivered in specified time- although it took about 10 miles of rides to break in and learn to ride "aussie" my horse and I love it. My knees and back no longer hurt after riding and my horse's back does not hurt either. This is not English or Western but Aussie and you must saddle up properly to ride correctly. The girth fit perfectly and when tightened correctly the saddle does not shift no matter what you do. None of my old blankets- eng. or western- fit properly and if a pad is wanted it is best to order it with the saddle. Although aussie riders do not use a pad, believing that sweat gives better contact, it would protect the saddle. check websites and do research to learn riding and saddling tips before buying. A light saddle, I just hope it lasts as long as my other synthetic saddle-the Christmas sale price with free shipping was hard to resist.

Great saddle for the money!
This saddle is very inexpensive, yet well made and comfortable for both me and my horse. Very light weight. Love the deep secure seat and the poleys. Wonderful for those unexpected spooks and spins out on the trails!

very uncomfortable
Did not like this saddle at all, very uncomfortable. Maybe its from being spoiled by much more expensive saddles, but I would rather ride bareback than in this saddle.

Love this company
soooo love my new saddle. very light compared to my leather one!! I was unsure that the fit was right for me and my horse. I email pictures to Down Under and they evaluated it and help me fit it to my horse and myself, all within the same day!!! Very prompt service. Would buy from then again for sure.

Great, inexpensive saddle.
I have had this saddle for a year and a half, and it has held up nicely. It is easy to clean and very comfortable for me and my horse . I use it to go out on the trails and just ride around the ranch. You can email the company if you have any questions regarding size or fit, and they are very responsive.Would definitely recommend.
