This is an excellent slicer. Sturdy and easy to clean
Excellent slicer! Best I’ve had and I’m really pleased with it! Slices through Italian cured meats with ease, nice uniform slices, can be as thin as I want.

Worked well for learning, bit of a pain to clean.
Sturdy, came with a solid (perminent) UK plug adapter.I purchased this to cut raw beef for jerky and so also purchased the flat (non serated) blade. It can be difficult to clean after raw meat because any fat left on the meat often gets pulled into the gap between the blade and the platform. I've never owned a deli slicer before so this may be a common occurrence. Just stop, pull out any caught meat, trim the joint and continue.Simple enough to clean out with a toothpick and some antibiotic wipes. But worth saying that you can't disassemble the platform to wash in the sink so cleaning will require a damp cloth or wipes.P.s. thinner settings often have some variability in end result, so for thin but chewy jerky, setting 5 on the thickness has done best for me :)

Brilliant
After searching through all the different reviews of the many machines on offer, I decided to go for this one as it had two blades. I wanted a slicer for my homemade bread and it is absolutely brilliant. Even when the crust is quite hard, whilst it struggles a little, it makes a loaf last so much longer as I can get much better slices and thinner one, than cutting by hand. The non serrated blade is better for ham. I cooked a ham in a slow cooker and it was lovely and tender but difficult to cut by hand. I bought this slicer to see if it would do a better job of my poor carving, and it sliced it all down to the last bit with nice thin slices and no waste. It is not as bad as some say to clean, just a little care and patience.

Easy to use, hard to clean.
Cuts well and easy to use. But cleaning is a nightmare. Unlike our old Siemens slicer this item does not dismantle enough to allow proper cleaning.Otherwise a very good cutter. I need to remember to keep my fingers away from the cutting disc....

Love it, simple to operate, great results, removeable tray guide, easy to clean
I'm new to this so spent ages looking and chose this model which is more expensive than many others. I'm glad I did. The slicer is simple to operate and the tray guide is removable for overside items and cleaning. I roasted some ham and after being overnight in the fridge, I sliced it with wafer thin slices with ease. It was a joy to use this machine, easy to clean. I checked the manufacturers website, and replacement parts are easy to obtain although not cheap. I love this slicer and would get it again. Can't wait to silce my homemade bread but will have to go easy on the yeast because and oversized loaf won't fit in the slicer.

Does not cut round bread loaves using the glider thus dangerous to use.
I bought this product in good faith as seemingly the predecessor (without the exchangeable blade) had very good reviews. However, when you try to cut a round home-made loaf of bread you will find that the leaver is too short so that you end up having to use the machine without the gliding protection.Initially I tried to cut it with the glider but as you can see it easily slips into the cutting blade which then cuts into the plastic. I now use it without until nearer the end when the loaf is almost cut but I'm not very comfortable doing so. I think if you buy a bread cutting machine it should allow me to cut a full slice without having to cut my loaf in half first!I have now also managed to jam a bit of the bread in the blade which means I have to take the machine apart to get it out and work again.

Very happy
This is a fantastic slicer- so pleased with my purchase. Easy to use and clean. The slider bar which hold whatever you are slicing does not detach which makes is slightly more difficult to clean but this is very minor flaw.If you want a quality slicing machine, this one takes some beating and I recommend.

Excellent quality with affordable price.
Cuts reliably consistent slices with both blades. Tricky to clean thoroughly.
