Absolute highest quality
I always wanted a Victorinox original Swiss Army Knife, I purchased the largest one & it is a real piece of machinery. This is made with real precision & the highest grade steel, every part is strong & functional.Very happy customer.

Well made, wide range of useful tools, a bit bulkier than other penknives but still OK
Includes nearly all the tools that I find useful and whilst it is fatter than my old Explorer plus which sadly is no longer sold I find the overall size and weight acceptable for carrying around while I do odd jobs around the home and garden. I can also imagine taking this hiking and camping because its utility justifies its weight. My only slight niggles are the relatively high price compared to the Explorer (it isn’t twice as useful nor do I think has twice the tools) and for some reason most of the tools in the main body hinge on one side rather than being evenly distributed between the two sides. It makes selecting and extracting some of the tools a little more fiddly than it otherwise need have been but it’s a minor niggle and I am overall very happy with this item, albeit larger than I would once have considered acceptable for a pocket knife.

It is NOT a lock knife, and is legal in the UK as a pocket knife.
Usual quality from Victorinox. Bulky, but a gadget for most jobs in your pocket. My favourite is the explorer. It is not a lock knife which would make it illegal, i dont know why Amazon has a rating for easy to lock?I gave it four stars for versatility as it is quite bulky compared to other models. It’s wise to study the SAK range and choose a less bulky version that carries all the tools YOU need.Top tip, buy the diamond sharpener too and learn the correct angles to sharpen the blades. Keeps it razor sharp without removing much metal.

Not such good quality
Ive carried a swiss army knife for over 40yrs now and I'm not so impressed with the newer ones The knives are not as well made as older ones and seem not to last as well.

Original and best.
I've had one of these for close on 30 years. This is the original and most versatile multi tool and still one of the best. Minor improvements over original version such as extra tool (parcel hook), sturdier lanyard loop attachment, which has also migrated to the opposite side. The only downside is the magnifying glass which is flimsy and has poor optical quality. This is a very minor point though as overall this is the only edc tool you would ever need.UK edc legal too. Bonus!
