101N0510 SECOP ELECTRONIC UNIT FOR BD35F AND BD50F DC

After a hard winter with numerous power outages I returned to my boat in the Spring to find my Dometic refrigerator was dead as a doornail. It would start, run for a few minutes, begin to get cold... then die.Since it would start to get cold I assumed the compressor might be okay. The power issues over the Winter definitely pointed toward a power problem. In addition, it had always worked fine on 12v but now it did nothing, not even a power light with 12v power.Before shelling out $2,000 for a new refrigerator (and dealing with the physical replacement of the unit) I decided to gamble on replacing the controller. This replacement controller plugged right in and my refrigerator has been working normally for a few months now.I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. My 2006 fridge decided to stop working on 12vdc but was fine on 110ac. Replaced power supply with this updated one and works perfect now. This is the superseded part number so I imagine a better design since old part number is known to fail. Very happy beer stays cold all day without a generator running 😁

Did more troubleshooting and found a hidden plug with a GFCI that had a fault. Reset it and the power supply now works as it should. I have changed my rating from 1 star to 5 stars.

Boat fridge

Direct replacement of the 101n0500. My Norcold DE/EV 0061 AC/DC fridge would only work on DC. Put in new electronic unit and it fixed the issue. Works on AC and DC now.

Worked like a champ! Saved me 1500 for a new fridge.
