Super happy with this purchase. I use it to connect my older Pioneer AV receiver to my Visio TV. Works great, the hardest thing to do was taking off the protective plastic caps haha. Would recommend to my mom's friend's sister's not niece.

I needed this to connect my television to the Denon Receiver I got to replace a Sony Receiver which died. I had been using simple stereo connection cable previously. The Denon has an optical input port for the television's sound output which the Sony lacked. I wanted the better connection so I purchased this one.Big plusses are the cable's wrap. It looks attractive and should protect the fiber optic cable for long service. The connectors are also sturdy.Neutral is the length. I was thinking of ordering a 15' cable but this one ony came in 12', so that is what I bought. It is just long enough to reach the television's optical out and the receiver's optical in. I am also not sure what benefit the gold plating is since it is the fiber which carries the signal.What cost a star is the connections. Unlike some optical cables I have used. this one was hard to get plugged in, both on the television and on the receiver. It ligned up easily enough, but did not want to snap in place like some of the cables I have used. I am left guessing as to whether I got it fully inserted or not. It seems to be working properly, so I must have gotten it right. I would prefer a more positive feedback though.

It took me a quick minute to connect this cable from my surround sound system to the television. It delivered a huge and clear sound from the TV, to all my speakers. Well worth the purchase.

Great way to connect

This cable works perfectly to connect our TV to our Samsung Sound tower. Our living room is oddly shaped, so we had to set up our speakers a bit further away from the TV. We needed a longer digital audio cable. Many I found were too expensive. This one was priced right for the 10' length, and we've had no issues with it at all. We are very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

Cable was good quality as described. Worked great and sound quality was as expected.

The connector is of pretty good quality, no complaints there.I really liked the wire, it's very flexible despite being braided so it's easy to handle and route.I'm using it for audio transmission from PC optical out to a Headphone DAC/AMP and it's working perfectly without any issues.Pretty happy with this purchase.
