Just what was needed to harvest persimmons!
This tool worked amazingly well at letting me finish harvesting the persimmons in my mom’s backyard. It helped me get those hard-to-reach fruits without needing big, hefty ladders. At the minimum, used a step ladder and climbed the lower branches of the tree. The tool is made with solid material, and the telescoping feature was easy to use and very much needed. It was fun using this to get the remaining persimmons, and I’m looking forward to next harvesting season!

Works well
We use this 10 foot picker for harvesting all sorts of firm fruit—apples, pears, quince, firm plums. It is tedious to pick the fruit one at a time but considerably less tedious than recovering from a fall from a ladder! I find picking with this style of tool wastes a lot less than the basket-style due to knocking less fruit off the tree. This picker has firm rubber grips on it whereas our older picker by the same manufacturer has high-density foam grips. I hope this new one will allow us to harvest softer fruit, too.

Impressed
I have used a basket fruit picker for an old, large orange tree and it has worked very well over the years. It is a struggle to pick fruit that has branches and twigs in the way. I was looking for a better option when I saw the Zenport. My first impression was that I didn't like the plastic parts but I gave it a try anyway. I was impressed with how sturdy it is and I have seen that I can buy replacement parts for the plastic pieces. It works very well for those hard to pick fruits that my basket picker can't reach. It's only drawback for me is that I cannot bring the fruit down for as soon as you let go of the trigger, the fruit is released. This works fine on the outside of the tree where I can bring the fruit down to the ground before releasing. But inside the tree the is no option but to let the fruit fall. Still I am very pleased with this purchase as I have picked bags of oranges that I would have had to leave on the tree before.

Great Fruit Picker
This works great for harvesting Papaya. Those trees just keep getting taller and you can only use while they are still relatively short. As they get taller a ladder gets harder and more dangerous to use. Also you typically only pick 1 or 2 fruits at a time so getting the ladder out seems really inefficient. This picker makes it fast and easy. The extension length is really good and you can grip the fruit firmly. In fact for ripe fruit you have to be careful not to grip too hard or you'll put small dents in them. This picker is very well constructed. There are some plastic parts so I recommend you store it out of direct sunlight when not in use. I'm planning to keep using this for many years and don't want to take a chance on constant exposure to sunlight eventually weakening the plastic parts.Very happy with this purchase.

Arrived broken, Hard to return
Purchased product and when it arrived it was broken. You squeeze the handle and nothing happens. Not sure the frequency with which defective products are being created. It is difficult to return the item because getting it to UPS is difficult due to the length of the package. Not worth the trouble.

Yup, Just works and it is FUN to use
I got this for my 74 year old mother for her birthday. To go along with the fold up wagon (so she would stop carrying the apples when she picks from the orchard on the hill). I have to say this thing works better that I expected!!!! She loves it, it was able to reach the highest of the apples from my overgrown apple tree in my back yard and the apple tree at her friends house. Both trees are out of control. Picture 74 year old grandmother and 4 year old grandson fighting over who's turn it is to pick the apple. It was easy to use for a 74 year old and a 4 year old. In the end everyone had to have a turn!! Yes it is worth the money it would and keeps the apple save! They were hunting out every apple tree!

Pricey but worth every penny penny
This is by far the best picker for oranges and apples that I have ever used. I can now get all of the fruit all the way to the top of the tree.
