Great
281Z Hiking Warm 6 inch Boot Liner Socks - Military Tactical Outdoor Sport - Polartec Fleece Winter Socks (Black): I got the biggest size. Soft, warm, comfy, not tight, does stay up. Cons: will stay a tiny bit wet from your sweat but aside from that minor issue, was good.

They run a little big
Warm socks! And if you have a pair of boots that are a little bit too big then these socks will take up the slack!! I recommend these socks

Use these to keep the feet warm on my motorcycle
Work well to help keep feet warm during winter riding. Helps to put a second pair of nylon socks of these for a second layer and help foot slip into bike boot.

Wonderful, but there are concerns with quality control and not receiving correct items
I'll divide this review into two areas. The first is to the specific six-inch boot liners in coyote brown and approximately 100 miles of present heavy duty use as of the writing of this review. The second is to not receiving the items in question and some concerns I have with quality control. This was my third order with this store. The first and second were done jointly for one pair of extra-large six-inch boot liners in coyote brown and one "Military Moisture Wicking Base Layer T-Shirt - Tactical Training Army Professional - Polartec Delta - Odor Resist - Cool Touch (Coyote Brown, Large)" shirt. The third order was done separately, two months later, for one additional pair of extra-large coyote tan boot liners, but in the eight-inch version.Firstly, I really do like these. A lot. The six-inch boot liners are very comfy and I've worn them since they arrived as both socks and as boot liners. I really do like these and can confirm they are great. For rucking and heavy duty field work, the six-inch versions function as stated. For daily wear, they function as stated. For sleep wear, they are superb and keep one's feet warm throughout the night. I give full marks for these in these areas. After approximately 100 miles of wear and use both in daily and field work with search and rescue, I can confirm that they're nice and I would like to order more. However, I cannot rate these higher than a three at best. Not because of the product, but in regards to quality control and getting the items ordered. I'll explain. In my first order of the six-inch boot liners, I also placed an order to try one of their moisture-wicking shirts and potentially switch out all of my athletic and field wear to them. Upon delivery of the boot liners, the shirt never arrived. I gave additional time before contacting Amazon to inquire in the event it was a delayed package, but it never showed. I do not hold this against the company, because there are too many unknowns in between the two, but with the third order, I cannot ignore that there maybe a concern. In regards to the eight-inch boot liners, these were part of a package of additional items from multiple companies that was delivered today, directly prior to my writing of this review. First, let me reiterate that I do love the six-inch version of these This is the reason I wanted to order an eight-inch variant; to work with my high cut combat boots for heavy intensity field work. Upon arrival of the shipment, everything else ordered from the different companies was there, with the exception of the eight-inch boot liners I had ordered from this company. Please see the attached image. I opened up the package that I was expecting to be the size "extra-large" eight-inch boot liners in coyote brown and was surprised to find a pair of size "small" USGI OD green socks with what appears to be a ripped off label on one of the socks. To my knowledge, this is not a product offered by this company and I don't know how or why this occurred the way it did. If there was difficulty providing the specific item, I would understand a logistical delay or communication to this regard, but receiving something completely different that isn't even a product offered just doesn't make sense to me and makes me question the validity.Pros:- The actual boot liners are wonderful and I can confirm from intensive personal use over the last two months that they are great. I can't speak to use of the eight-inch variants or a comparison between the two because I didn't receive the eight-inch version I ordered, but if I could, I would recommend going for the eight-inch version over the six-inch because it covers higher on the leg, offering more support for high cut boots and socks and support for movement of the foot and anchoring of the liner along the breadth of the boot. In addition, further coverage would also trap additional heat and support more blood flow and body heat up and down the ankle. Physiologically, this makes sense to me.- Fast air dry after washing or getting soaked. The liners do not retain water or moisture easily. This is a great positive both in and out of the field.- From my use of this specific item in question, I would recommend it, but recommend going for the eight-inch version first as it is more of a true boot liner. The six-inch is more of a crew-cut sock liner or for assault or mid-cut boot. The eight-inch version is more suited to long distance endurance work. Especially in climates and areas where a boot liner would more so be needed.Cons:- Quality control and receiving the actual items ordered. This may have been an isolated case and could have occurred anywhere along the logistical chain, so I'll make no judgements, but being two of my three items ordered had questionable outcomes in never arriving or not arriving as the correct item, I cannot give the benefit of the doubt or rule this concern out. I would confirm the items you order and verify upon transit and delivery, so that what you are ordering you are confident you are receiving.Summary:- The boot liners are wonderful, but verify your order is correct upon delivery.

warm, comfortable
I bought these for house slippers in place of fuzzy socks. One thing to note is these are ambidextrous, so they don't fit very tight in the toes. They are warm, yet the Polartec fleece is very thin and light. I added a sole of suede leather to make the bottoms last longer.

Awesome slippers
I bought these for my wife, so she can use them as house slippers. She likes them and said they fit just right. The material is nice and soft but still strong and durable. The stitching seems solid and should last while they are in use. I don't really need to use them as boot liners since we live in Central Texas.

Great product
I was a little unsure and sceptical about buying these but I am glad I did. Great quality and warm. My feet are often freezing cold even in the warmest of boots. These boot socks actually keep my feet warm. My shoes size is 6. Bought a small and it fits great. Recommend sizing up if you'd like to wear thick socks under the boot socks.
