I bought these for my boyfriend and I thought they were really nice at first. He’s only been wearing them a week now and the stitching is already coming undone unfortunately. I was contacted by customer service and they offered to provide me a refund or send another pair, which I was truly appreciative of. While I wish the gloves lasted longer, I’m happy that they were so eager to make the situation right!

4 stars when factoring in price. These are 3-star from an absolute quality perspective, and will not be mistaken for $200-$400 gloves from the top brands, but they are perfectly acceptable quality, more like 80% of the same quality at 12 - 25% of the price. The biggest tell is in the sheen and durability of the leather. The lining quality and overall warmth of the gloves is very much in line with even the high price options.

I was very impressed with the quality of these gloves. They were a gift for my father who has very fine taste. He said they were very comfortable and soft. The leather was extremely soft.

These are nice gloves. I have large hands so they fit very snugly. They will probably stretch a bit over more usage. I get a decent dexterity with them on. And they have some grip on the car steering wheel.The gloves appear to be made well. I would like them to be a bit longer at the cuff.

Love these gloves! I didn't need something for ultra cold weather, which is good because the cold does start to get through below 20 degrees. When this happens, I just put put them in my pockets and it's all good. What's so great is how beautiful and supple these are. The sheepskin exterior and cashmere interior feel amazing, and the elegant, classic design looks dapper with a trench coat and slacks. Style, quality craftsmanship, and excellent comfort are what you get with these, with the only downside being that there are probably other gloves that insulate better.

Soft beautiful blue leather with the exact lining I was looking for. Purchased to replace a nearly identical pair of black leather gloves that have been worn every winter for over ten years. Hope these last as long. They seem to be equally well made. Perfect stitching. As I said the color is just gorgeous. I would rather pay for quality than have something fall apart after a season of wear. Very pleased with new gloves. The packaging was a nice touch also. Well done Downholme.

I am returning the gloves. I followed the sizing recommendation but the gloves were too short in the fingers. 9.5” indicated an XL, however XXL will be my replacement order. The presentation box and quality of the leather and craftsmanship appear to be excellent. I’ll know more once the larger size arrives and I have an opportunity to wear them in regular use.

These were given as a Christmas gift as dress/driving gloves. The recipient loved them. The leather and the cashmere lining were soft and they came in a nice gift box. I bought XXL size (maybe XL in another brand) and they fit perfectly.

I wanted a pair of these gloves some time ago as it is difficult to find men's gloves in anything other than black or shades of brown. Red would be a choice but grey was also an elegant option. So these grey ones were put on my wish list. Luckily last week I was asked what I wanted for my birthday (75). It was a no brainer and the next day, here they are :-) Fit is perfect and they were in a fine presentation box. Beautiful, elegant and very comfortable. A grand gift. Take care to measure around the palm for size (thumb out and not included) and use the measurement to chose size on the size chart provided. You will I feel sure not be disappointed. I did some research and these gloves were well reviewed and recommended on various sites. You can get very similar gloves for about half the price but I have had those gloves in the past. I thought I would see if the price made an acceptable difference. First of all the presentation / packaging was very classy. Arguably wasteful but certainly classy. We are talking Gucci level of packaging and presentation. Were the gloves going to live up to the promise of the packaging? Yes they were. They are gorgeous. The quality of the leather and lining and fit are outstanding. Enough said I think.

Exquisite quality of leather and so comfortable it's like putting your hand into a mound of warm marsh mellow. Attention to detail and care taken to produce this item is apparent. Delivered promptly in a luxurious box these are the best gloves I have ever purchased. Highly recommended.....

From the moment I removed the package from its outer wrapping and saw the presentation box, I immediately thought to myself "this exudes quality". When the box was opened I wasn't disappointed as it revealed the gloves had been wrapped very carefully in tissue paper and when I put them on they really did "fit like a glove". With their supple leather and very comfortable linings, I feel fully prepared for the colder days to come but until then they'll be returned to their presentation box which can also be used to store them over the summer months. I'd have no hesitation in recommending these exceedingly good gloves.

I can't fault the quality of these gloves, however after a couple of weeks wearing them, they have stretched a little, so perhaps my recommendation would be to keep this in mind.Otherwise, a great pair of good looking gloves.
