Mainstay Parsons Cubby TV Stand Holds Up to 50" TV - Black Oak (Espresso (TV Stand ONLY))

Easy to put it together ot just takes a very long time. It took me almost 2 hours with following directions. Anyone can put this together just takes a while

It’s cute and serves its purpose well. It wasn’t difficult to put together, it just took some time.

The stand took me a long time to assemble by myself. When it was finished, the back piece wasn't flush with the top piece which still annoys me to this day and two of the top pieces aren't fully pushed together. I feel like I followed the instructions to a T and it still did not turn out the best. For someone like me with OCD, it does bother me, but maybe the slight "off-ness" of it all wouldn't bother most. It is very sturdy and I have not had any issues in that aspect. The finish is very scratch-sensitive and one of the top pieces came with a small scratch on it before assembly. All-in-all, the product is serving it's purpose for the price I paid.

My biggest disappointment is that the top panel (where the TV sits) is not one solid piece of wood but rather 3 sections. While that design likely helps for production and packaging, I have to say it is not the most aesthetically pleasing. The color is nice, though.Assembly on this unit is a lot like an IKEA experiment. It's all picture based rather than having written words, so it definitely can get a little frustrating as the pictures are not always obvious in terms of what way a certain board needs to be facing during a certain step. I definitely had to re-do certain portions, but that is probably always a risk for the assemble-yourself style furniture.

Cheap not worth the price took two lifetimes to arrive and the estimated assembly time is 4 hours. And don't even think about trying to contact the seller. You go straight to a automated service that takes you around in circles the only response you will get is a email not a live customer service agent

The directions were pretty good, but didn't give enough info on what screws to use. Also came with a few space parts, but only the 6 feet. We split one foot so had to glue and screw together to use.

I would not recommend this tv stand to anyone. The assembly took over 3 hours and the instructions are maddening when reading them. Also, the brown finish is peeled off on some of the corners. It's cheaply made. I guess you get what you pay for. I will not make this mistake again.

Great value for the money. When you can’t afford higher end furniture but want the look of something nicer this is a great option. Fits my 50” without issue. I bought two cube organizers from the dollar store for the bottom shelf that work perfectly. Would purchase again.
