Great quality rods. I have 2- one bait cast one spinner. Casts far- good quality. I hit the tip of one on a ceiling fan going full blast. Thought it broke for sure but it’s not even marked. Durable!

Seems like a decent rod for the price. I bought the one piece Serpent 7’2” medium light rod a while back to use for throwing light weight jigs and Ned rigs. I wanted to buy a two piece Serpent spinning rod in medium weight to use for drop shopping and throwing jerk baits but they never seem to have any available. Thus, I opted to buy this rod instead. It will work for what I bought it for but the quality is not as good as the Serpent series spinning rods.Update: I fished with this rod this week and it’s junk. The upper section comes loose about every third cast and is so flimsy you can’t get a decent hook set. Save your money. When you only have so much time to fish spend your money on quality fishing tackle to make your day more satisfying.

I was looking for a budget spinning rod as a place holder for an ABU Garcia Max that I bought off of EBay…I’ve been using this rod for the past week, fishing around my neighborhood and after work and I love it…Casts lures great, even in the wind and holds up well bringing largemouth bass in…Getting used to using Senko worms and this rod is sensitive enough to feel bites and nibbles…Gonna look into getting one of their reels as well…

This is the single worst fishing rod I've ever touched. The "medium" action rod is flimsier than most ultra light setups. It offers ZERO sensitivity and is absolutely impossible to set a hook. I had 2 bites with the rod practically ripped out of my hand that would not set because the rod just bends straight into the water instead of popping up. My first one broke in half after trying to set a hook ONCE. I've literally never snapped a rod in my life, I have like 10 others and I fish daily. The second one didn't snap in half immediately but is (again) entirely impossible to catch fish on. I mean this is unusable garbage. Buy any other rod. I've seen 20 dollar rod and reel setups that DESTROY this product in terms of quality. I've caught many fish on budget setups, avoid this one like the plague. Go to Walmart, get a 20-40 dollar combo, you will be infinitely better off. I would give zero stars if I could and I'm refunding mine after this.

I ordered two of these rods, and they arrived well-packed with no issues whatsoever. I do a lot of fishing for bass, pike, and musky, and I have to say—these rods are as good as anything out there, especially when you factor in the price. If you're looking for a rod that has all the features and performance of the high-end models, but without the crazy price tag, this is the one. Highly recommend it!

Nice looking rod, well crafted, but was much heavier then I was expecting and I wanted a much lighter tip.

I like these rods in a one piece. Especially for my trolling. It shows the action of my lure at the speed I troll, doesn't have too long of handle to pull out of the rod holder, and I can eliminate extra rods if I want to regular fish. I had to return it tho , because they sent a 2 piece. I know it says 2 piece in the main description...but it also says 1 piece in the lower description for this particular rod, so I took a chance. I'm sure there's more professional anglers than I, but I can't tell the difference between this and my higher dollar lews? I took one star off for the conflicting descriptions...not the pole.
