I have several other great monitors in my studio including Neumann KH120s and Dynaudio LYD-48 monitors. But the Avantone Mixcubes sit right along side those other monitors and get plenty of use in my studio.The Mixcubes are great at getting your mid-range frequencies balanced. The monitors (Although not full range), are snappy and clear in helping you view what is happening in the critical range of a mix. My mix engineer and I often use the mixcubes up to 50% of the time we are working on a mix.A worst, they provide an alternative perspective that helps you see what is happening frequency wise. You can use this product to better define the upper end of basses, vocals and snares as well as getting distortion effects right.If you're sitting on the fence about buying one, just get it! Once you learn how to use it, you won't regret it.

The media could not be loaded. If your on the fence, about these active ones, Just do it, this is a great reference monitor, looks cool, at a fair price. Had these about a month now, no issues.
