My cat’s using her box again
Last year my cat started urinating in front of her box and pooping on the floor behind her box. Seemed she suddenly hated the litter we’d been using for years. Her vet found no physical problems so I finally tried this litter out of desperation and wow, she’s been using her box ever since. I do put a pee pad in front of the box just in case but she hasn’t used it since I changed to this litter. One thing I recommend is having a sturdy scoop because this does form hard clumps. That’s not a drawback, just a recommendation.Oh, she does track a little and it’s hard to see but it’s easily swept up with a small whisk broom.

Love the product, hated today’s delivery.
Love the product. Hated today’s delivery. Until today Amazon always delivered the 40 lb. bag directly to my front door. But today they handed it off to USPS and they left this 40 lb. bag in our locked mailbox which is a mile from my front door. I am not happy. If this continues I will purchase the kitty litter in a local store rather than Amazon. The price is the same.

it works exactly as its supposed to
I got a kitty who was having issues using the cat potty for poo. I was finding poo bombs in various locations in my house. After getting this, the poo bombs have stopped and he uses the cat potty. Whew! Huge improvement. I don't think this kitty was able to stay with his mother for long. He has other issues that we're dealing with, but this was #1. The rest pale in comparison.

Kitty used it immediately!
Whoa, my twelve-year-old kitty used this about two minutes after I poured it into a new litter box. She suddenly started peeing outside her other litter box with the litter we've been using for years, so I thought I would try an entirely new setup after reading all these positive reviews. I've been wondering if the graininess of the old litter was starting to irritate her paws. She typically resists anything new, so this is a promising start!

Game changer for cats with FLUTD/FIC & behavioral issues!
I have one cat (“Spike”) that MUST have Dr. Elsey’s Cat Attack litter. He refuses to use any other litter and will use the rugs, towels, clothes or whatever is convenient if this particular litter is not in his litter box. Formerly a indoor/outdoor cat, Spike witnessed an event that led to his current PTSD, agoraphobia and FLUTD/FIC (an obstructed urethra) where elimination is crucial and per vet orders I need to “reduce any stressors and encourage elimination”. Upon his release from the hospital, he became a permanent indoor cat and moved into the main house, and so started the litter box issues as well as his fear of leaving the bedroom. Long story short, after trying a number of different litter brands and types of litter, it was Dr. Elsey’s Cat Attack that solved the problem! I usually buy the 40lb bag at the local big box pet store, but their next delivery was the following week. Figuring I could do better, I found it on Amazon Prime. Not only could I have it in two days BUT I didn’t have to ruin my back with lifting & the logistics associated with buying locally (-not as young as I used to be). What I DO like:- It clumps exceptionally well.- Scooping removes only the soiled clumps without a lot of litter excess attached (saving you on unnecessary waste & extending the life of your purchase).- It is clay based so it is low dust with little litter getting tracked.- It is made with natural ingredients: 100% sodium bentonite clay from Wyoming plus a propriety blend of herbs for the “attractant” (although unscented to us humans).- It’s good at odor control and has no perfume scent- It works in regular & mechanical litter boxes- Each bag includes Dr. Elsey’s informative Litter Box Basics pamphlet that contains also contains a few coupons in the back for your future purchase.- It comes in a variety of sizes & packaging to suite your storage needs.- It lasts a long time with regular daily maintenance- Made in the USA (Colorado)What I DO NOT like:- It’s extremely heavy even when dry & not soiled.- Scooping can be stressful on weak wrists- Requires a heavy duty scooper for- It’s a bit pricey compared to the other 40lb bag I purchase for the other cats.- It is not biodegradable and eco-friendly. It can’t be flushed, compost, or repurposed. It’s is not organic so all “used” portions that get thrown away end up in a landfill. For Spike and his condition, Dr. Elsey’s Cat Attack litter has been effective in helping him recover & urinate more frequently & stress free. Overall, it works as an attractant for cats with medical & mental issues, but not the most budget friendly for the task. 4 Stars.

Miracle Worker
Our cat of 5 years has always been a very picky cat. She has never used the litter box for pooping since the beginning. We tried new boxes, new litters, and new foods with no success. Medically cleared for no GI issues, just a picky cat. Not sure why it took us so long to try an attract litter but OH MY GOSH it works! She is finally pooping in the litter box! We will be using this until further notice.

Did the cat attract formula change?
Cat AtTrack used to work for my other cats in the past. I used to foster kittens and mama cat. All used the litter box except one. Cat Attract worked great for training the one! That was 2 1/2 years ago. Did the formula change? It isn’t working with my female cat now. She only uses it if I keep her locked in the bathroom. I let her out this morning and praised her for using the box. A few hours later, I noticed cat urine on my couch (no cushions, as they were off). I had it covered with a thick vinyl cover after I cleaned it with an enzymatic cleaner and apple cider vinegar. I also threw orange peels on the couch. So back in the bathroom she went! I added catnip to the cat attract litter. (It was clean). I don’t know how to keep her focused on using it and not the couch. For the record, I have two cats and three litter boxes. For a year she used the upstairs litter box without fail. But 2 weeks ago my other cat attacked her while she was using it. That one uses the 2 downstairs. So I know she’s traumatized. Hopefully she will use the cat attract soon without being locked in the bathroom.

Buy it!
This litter has been heaven sent! I have a now 6 week old kitten who I needed to litter train (did this at 5 weeks old) and nothing was working. Until now. He’s going in his litter box since the first 5 minutes I put him in it. Now, I’m mixing it with our regular cat litter to wean him off and he’s still doing great! Totally worth the buy!
