My yard is full of weeds and has never been taken care of. I put down this product in an effort to start towards a nicer yard. First application did not kill all the weeds (there are a lot) but it's spring and I'll apply again later. This product did thicken my grass and it's much greener. I'm very happy with the product and can't wait to use it again to see what happens.

I spread this out on my lawn a couple of weeks ago, and the verdict is in. I am not impressed, but I'm not positive that it's the pellets' fault.It was easy to spread (though you'll need a pellet spreader; doing it without it is not advised. You'd be at it all day, and probably wouldn't have the best results.) We got it down in less than an hour, and then we waited. It was a pleasantly sunny day when it was spread, however we did have some unexpected rain, and I think the rain must have washed it out and diluted it way too much, because none of our weeds even pretended like they were going to die. No wilting, no fading, no browning, nothing. Further, our grass doesn't look much better or healthier than it did before we started, though it may be a little greener than it was at first.I'm giving it a three star rating because I can't be certain that it wouldn't have worked had it not rained the day after we put it down.Pros:Easily covered our entire lawnEasy to place if you have a spreaderLawn looks a little greener, though that might be the rainEasier/faster to apply than a sprayCons:Didn't kill any weeds, not even the cloverPretty sure you're going to need days worth of uninterrupted sun for the stuff to even workNot as effective as a spray which works within a dayTakes much longer to dissolve and work, which means kids and pets need to stay in longer

Best I’ve ever used. Actually, did exactly what the marketing said it would. Lots of rain made the grass grow green quickly and filled in bare spots and banished a variety of different weeds. Didn’t go quite as far as my firmer 5,000 sf fertilizers did. I may have overdid it a bit with my old spreader. It didn’t burn and it waited happily for the Autumn rains.

I put this down hoping for the best. My yard is over taken by plantain weed, this did nothing at all. Very unhappy. Wasted money

During the initial treatment, I did not necessarily read the instructions and I put this down when the grass was dry. It did not work and weeds were still running rampant in my yard and my yard looked exactly the same as before.So, I waited again until it rained and put this stuff down while the grass was wet and the result was much better. It's been a week since I treated my yard and I would estimate about 85-90% of the weeds are gone. My grass looks a lot healthier and fuller than it did before. I was afraid this product would kill my grass since I treated it twice within a month but that was not the case.
