This is a stretchy material. It is not cotton so If you live in a cold climate wear a tank top under it. I love this sweater for the bright bold colors and how smooth that it is. I'm normally a small but I ordered a large just in case and it runs true to size. A large will be enough room for a tank top under it, long enough to wear with leggings, and big enough to have that kinda fun cute 80's style.
