This review is from my anemic daughter: At first when I took it I got really bad stomach cramps and leg muscle aches that would last for hours and thought never again but I did some research and started taking it with Vitamin C and bam no side effects. I accidentally didn't take them at the same time once and half hour passed before I took the vitamin C and boy did my leg kill me a few hours after. So I suggest trying to take any iron supplement with Vitamin C (because it helps it to absorb better) if you are experiencing bad side effects.

I have always been low on iron and one of my doctors suggested this medication and it has done a good job for me.

Fergon is the PERFECT iron supplement for women (according to my ob/gyn) and I've taken it for years. Since I don't like meat, it really helps me keep my blood iron rich. Ferrous gluconate, so NOT upsetting to digest. PERFECT.
