PILOTFineliner Marker Pens, Fine Point, Black Ink, Dozen Box (11002)

I usually use micron pens but I am doing a little watercolor and this was recommended by an artist for outlining so hey... it is very nice smooth line

Great product. I use these markers for drawing perspective renderings. A new marker makes an very fine but solid line even when quick sketching. As the marker becomes more used, I put tape around the middle so I know it has a thicker line. Will definitely buy again (and again and again) as I use these up every week!

I generally use nothing but fineliner pens so I was excited to see one by Pilot. It is my every day pen. The only gripe that I have is it smears.

Really nice pens. They have a nice fine tip to them and last for a long time.

I've been working with several brands and models of fine tipped felt pens to lay out the line work for my oil paintings. Faber Castell PITT, Copic, and Prismacolor are all great but also cost about twice as much as these Pilot pens and actually tend to dry up faster.The Pilot pen is great for oil painters because the ink remains water soluble up to a few hours but are immediately resistant to terps and oils. This means I can make corrections with water, OR start laying in my washes right away for underpainding. These pens are a painter's dream come true!

"Dozen box" only came with a single pen.UPDATE: Called Shoplet, they said it was listed incorrectly and refunded me the full amount--and I got to keep the single pen, too.

Writes very smooth. I have always loved these pens.

great pen...just not sold quantities stated. As mentioned by others this is price per pen. I read the other reviews too late.Great feel for sketching.
