Compact, light yet quite functional
I have a large carry-on backpack that fits a business laptop in addition to an assortment of electronic gadgets (external USB HDDs, phones, power adaptors, etc…), travel documents, a change of clothes and fragile camera stuff. The problem is when I get to the location, it is a pain to carry this large and heavy backpack around all day even for short day trip. So I was looking for a smaller and light weight backpack that does not take up a lot of checked-in luggage space and use it once I get to the destination.I came across this 32L backpack on Amazon, it was exactly what I was hoping for and more. I could not be happier with the purchase. The backpack/material is lightweight yet seems very well-made and water resistance. The zippers are smooth, and I found the plastic pull on each zipper is quite useful and functional.Using the camera insert (which I bought prior for my large carry-on backpack), I was able to fit my laptop + power adapter, my mirrorless camera + two additional lenses with good protection in the main compartment. Two other compartments are big enough for variety of lens filters, USB HDD, SD cards, extra batteries, USB power adapter, and whatever small gadgets I might have to carry. For the 2 side pockets – one holds my 56” compact tripod and the other perfectly fit a 12-16oz stainless steel water bottle. The small zipper rain pouch is handy for passport and wallet. Even with all the stuff weight, the shoulder straps are super comfortable, my back feels cool and comfy with breathable airflow channel and padding (even after all day trekking).

Love!! But smaller than I realzied.
This is a great backpack. I didn't realize it was so much smaller than I'm used to, but kept it because I liked it so much. I use it as a day/emergency pack in that stays in the car to hold a change of clothes for each kid (4 years old), myself, my husband, a few emergency meds, small first aid kit, sanitizing wipes, a hand towel, and a few dry snacks.. LOVE the dry area in the front for my phone for when we use it as a boat bag.Very comfortable to wear as well and the color is very vibrant and even prettier than the picture.

Great present for the best husband and father
I bought this item for my wife, to carry with me to day trips to nature. It was an ideal size to match subjects such as a purse, glasses, plaid, a diving mask, drinks and even children's accessories.Separately, I want to note that the zippers are quite strong.Reliably protected on the back, without being too bulky, and when there was a thunderstorm, he kept my things dry!The price was an absolute bargain!

Nice little pack
My wife LOVES this day pack. It's small enough to use every day,but still large enough to hold supplies for a short day hike. The zipper pulls are amazing and make it easy to access the gear. my wife is 5'2, see pictures for sizing.

Light but strong
Took it on a trip to Patagonia. Through sun, light rain, lots of hiking...held up great. Super lightweight too, but still held all my stuff

Zipper Broke on Third Use
I fell in love with this pack! The size, color, compartments and design were just what I was looking for as a petite woman day hiker. I was really disappointed that the zipper broke on just the third use! If it had good zippers this would be a 5 star review. Seems others had the same issue. Would also be nice if they put a hole at the top for a bladder hose.

fit is quite smaller than expected
I am returning this item because it seems to be child-sized rather than adult-sized. I'm bummed because otherwise it is just what we are looking for and seems well made. The straps just all seem rather small for my husband. He's 6' and 190 lbs and to fit this to him we needed to extend the shoulder and waist straps to nearly their full extent. Additionally, the straps are set close together at the top and rub his neck.

Good backpack for bike commuting.
Just received this backpack the other day. So far, I'm liking it. It is the right size for bike commuting: holds a 13" mac laptop, clothing, and lunch. I know there have been concerns with the zippers. So far they are very durable (in fact they zip open and close easily and feel snug when they are zipped up). With regards to the rubber attachment to the zippers breaking, I have limited my use of them and pull/zip on the metal zipper tabs instead. I think if you can do then you won't have any problems. I have not used it for hiking, but I imagine it will work great for hiking.
