A good practice project. Or an intro to electronics.
Good part contained enough caps and resistor's to complete and it worked when we finished. Took a couple hours total for a kid new to soldering and electronics. The bad, the electric cord is way too small and a super fine gauge, no heat shrink for connecting to the transformer. No instructions at all, the resistors were not very close to the called out values. The way the box goes together leaves allot to be desired. Some of the pins were very close together. However the board was well labeled and it did go together. After sorting and measuring resistors we were able to use the best fit ones. The cables on the transformer were very short but just....long enough. Not sure what else to say. For the price don't expect much and you will not be disappointed. It is good enough for a learning project but buy shrink tubes and a different power cord.

Missing parts/hardware, nor as described
Two stars till I can see if I can at least get it working...First, not as described. Black acrylic case instead of clear as depicted. This is important to diy enthusiasts, as clear shows the work you have put into a project. And that is how the product was advertised.Missing capacitors and hardware. No heat shrink tubing for power cord, no spacers for pcb, not enough screws. Had to use some from personal stash. All parts were simply crammed in a small ziplock bag and it took a good while just to sort and repair.Fairly experienced at this diy stuff and have to say this has been the worst one yet...

Not bad..
The build was a little difficult at 1st. The company did email me a manual after I asked. Very quickly also. I was a little disappointed because the shell I got was black and not clear. Sound quality is mildly better than phone speakers.

Fun to build
A fun kit to build not the greatest amp but better than I expected, sound is decent for 3W speakers.update: When I wrote this review I had not yet put in the acrylic case now that I have the case I received is black not clear as pictured, I would have preferred the clear case.

No Good
I have not completed building this kit yet, but I did want to warn people thinking about buying this item, that it does not include instructions, or even a schematic. So, if you build this kit you should have some previous kit building experience. I will update this review when I complete this project.Update: I completed the kit, except for the case. I was missing the nuts to mount the speakers and the circuit board. When powered on the led lite, but all I heard was loud 60 cycle hum from both speakers. So at that point I gave up. Simply not worth the money spent.
