Lonely Planet Polish Phrasebook & Dictionary Paperback – Illustrated, March 19, 2019

Lonely Planet does a good job on their travel books. My girlfriend is a Doctor in Poland.So, I purchased this book to learn more about Poland. The book does a great job of describing the history of both the national parks and the various cities. There are lots of great color photographs.

It helps, but my Polish is still crap. Fun tho.

We are enjoying this book.

Perfect little companion when traveling & needing communication assistance. However, the print on the pages is very small so have your glasses handy. 4 stars for the small print.

I'm sure it's going to be awesomely useful on my upcoming trip -- for now, I appreciated that there was even a bit of grammar described. Learning useful phrases and such /is/ the "right" way to approach learning a language, sure, but it makes my nerdy little heart happy to get a sense of the underpinnings.

This small phrasebook/dictionary is a pleasure to use. It features many colloquial and applicable words and phrases that will be useful if its reader is visiting Poland, with simple, concise definitions - and its size makes it especially convenient for travel.

Do not buy, doesn't use useful language. Seems as though it's NOT written by a native speaker

this book is no deal at all. the print is very small . you need a magnifying glass to read this book. i am very sad that i paid for this book. do not buy it
