AMERICAN Quality
Well I have a lot of knives for different purposes. I bought this one because of its positive reviews by butchers. I can HONESTLY say after having hunting knives of many different types and brands this one is hands down the best I have ever owned and will, unless I loose it, be my last. The steel is amazing, the ease of sharpening is incredible as well as its ability to HOLD AN EDGE if beyond anything I have ever had. I cut a large sheet of tanned 12oz leather to make several knife sheaths and then used that same knife to butcher meat with for supper and it was scary sharp still! At less than 25 dollars to my door why did I not get one of these a long time ago. Its perfect for the hunter, fisherman, or just to use in the kitchen. Amazing. All this with AMERICAN steel, and 100% AMERICAN labor!! Trump 2020!!

I love the utilitarian quality of this knife.
It's sharp from the factory and does what it is supposed to do. I am a leather worker and purchased it because I had orders for a number of sheaths and needed my own copy for fitting and testing. Customers were thrilled with the sheaths and I am very happy to have a quality knife I can use for preparing meat for the smoker. Win Win!

I like it buuuut
The wood is good, the balance is nice but the metal is sub-par. I cut up 1 antelope, tried to clean it up, put it away to take home and properly clean. When properly cleaned, the blade was pitted and rusted. You could see rust on the blade edge too.Definitely going to get another sheep skinning knife, it made harvesting really easy being able to skin so quickly. I probably won't get another one of these. Especially since there's no sheath and getting a sheath for these is hard since it's got that beautiful belly.

Not too shaggy
Knife has a great edge. Wife put it in the dishwasher and came out rusted. No big deal, I’ll rub with oil and a scotchbrite pad to keep the rustic look. Plan on rounding the edges to fit the hand, wish it came with a sheath. This is my #1 trout head/gutting knife.

Deer Skinning
Worked great for skinning and quartering white tailed deer. Love the wooden handle and balance of the knife

Sharp
Very sharp and easy to sharpen skinning knife. Just be careful to never leave wet or it will rust. I use this knife to skin all my lambs I butcher.
