Bought this hat mainly for a party but wanted something I could wear out anytime also. This hat was it. Looks great and very comfortable. TONS of compliments. My hat size is 7.5 and the xtra large fit perfect. I may buy another color and some feather assortments.

I've been wanting a proper hat for a long time. I have plenty of ball caps and winter hats. I wanted to add a "real" hat to the rotation. I'd always dug Gene Hackman's role of Popeye Doyle in The French Connection; that porkpie hat was cool. So I finally grabbed one of my own. This one fits well on my 2XL noggin, though I might put something in the band to make it a touch more snug. Otherwise, it's a nice-looking hat, if you like porkpies.

Needed last minute for a Madi Gras party. Vibrant purple good value item. Worked perfectly and will wear again.

Received today and overall pleased with purchase. There were a few, what I would consider, minor issues. 1) The hat was shipped in a bag but was not crushed, luckily, 2) I ordered the Pecan color and it is slightly darker than the product images, 3) I ordered the XL and it is very slightly too big but still definitely wearable without resizing. Understandable as my crown size is an in-between 23 1/4", and finally 4) There was some excess glue on the front of the hat that had seaped from under the band. I was able to scrape it off without damaging the hat but still, a $50 hat should not have this type of quality issue. I'm mostly pleased with this hat and would order again.

This is a really great hat. I'm 23.5" at the crown and a large fits me perfectly. Can be worn tilted at a rakish angle for that Magilla Gorilla/90s ska revival look, or flat across the brow if you're a serious-yet-swingin' big band jazz trumpeter.I deducted one star because the hat was shipped from the US to Canada in a bag! It arrived crushed but popped back into shape with only very light permanent denting that you'd never notice unless you were looking for it.Shipping was very fast. This hat arrived over a week before its estimated delivery date.
