Q: Do i have to purchase the sanding adapter separately ?

Sanding adapter? There’s a couple different types. Sandpaper holder for 16” discs.. $220. or the Hydrasand satellite which has 6 - 5” discs.. a more serious deal.. about $700. Let me know if you need more information

Q: is this machine for wood or concrete floors?

I'm using it for sanding wood floors. I suppose it could be used for concrete, depending on what you're doing and if you have the proper attachment.

Q: which sanding discs do i order for the pad diver that comes standard with the machine?

The machine comes with a standard pad driver for double sided discs and sanding screens. To use the bolt one center hole style discs, you would need the American Sanders #460215 Sanding Disc Adaptor. Thanks!
