I needed to get a jacket for my trip to Paris in January and I wanted something stylish but most important (to keep me warm). I ordered the jacket last minute after returning another coat that just didn't look right on me. As a vegan its really difficult to purchase a winter coat that is both inexpensive and of good quality. Alpine North makes a great product and it shows. The jacket is sturdy, not too bulky, fits snug at the wrists not to let chilly air enter during those freezing windy days. The inside of the jacket has several pockets (and a nice inside zipper pocket to keep a passport or wallet) It has a longer stylish look fitting down to mid thigh. I am 5'11 and the jacket looked great on me as you can see in the pics. I got plenty of great positive comments from people. If you want a stylish, well crafted and useful coat for the winter I recommend this jacket. It was delivered quickly and very easily. I would not only recommend it as a purchase but would buy it again! Glad to have this in my wardrobe! Bonjour!

I ordered this coat because my fiancé bought one and loves it. Unfortunately for me that has not been the case. My first issue with the coat is with the zipper which seems to be faulty and of poor quality - it can be frustrating to try to zip up my coat due to the zipper just not working properly. Second issue is the stitching quality of the inside lining of the coat, after a couple of weeks of use the inside lining has ripped at the seams (see photos). I really wanted to like this coat but it’s been disappointing so far.

Great jacket. Definitely satisfied what I needed it for. Kept me warm during the days where wind chill was below 0F. was also able to wear it on higher temp without any discomfort.One issue is that zipper. When I first wore I was not able to unzip at the bottom to release the jacket. was able to finally open it after a few days. It happened again, and after a few days I was able to open. No more issues now, think it just needed to get a few use to break in.Would definitely recommend.

I like the length, warmth and water resistance. However, it bulges in front at the middle. I am disappointed that the letters in the name are apparently applied to the fabric and have begun to peel. This after being worn about five times. I fear that washing will make it worse. This is not a good look.

I haven't worn it outside yet, it hasn't been cold enough here,(Chicago), but I have tried it on. The fit is great. Fits just asI thought it would. Your directions on how to measure worked well for me. I am a woman so I calibrated the size from the hips. Thanks for the beautiful quality. L.B.T.W.

Received just in time for the upcoming cold days that we will have.This coat is great for outdoors event with a nice thick sweater underneath.

My husband ordered this jacket off my account, and when we got it and he tried it on I giggled. This jacket is super long. He’s 5’9 and ordered a large (he’s a weight lifter and often orders large due to his arms not fitting in mediums). So that could be why it’s so long. He said it’s warm though and comfortable

As a teacher, it's important to have a warm winter coat for recess duty. This coat is exactly as advertised. Warm, accessible pockets for everything you want to store, and a length that keeps the legs (to the knees, for me) warm, which is essential for winter recesses.The zipper is a bit "sticky" at this point, but I assume that will ease up once used more.

It is a nice classy coat, however I had to return it for several reasons.First of all, it is not as warm as mentioned. it cannot cover the cold totally in -2 C degrees, and definitely not an option for -30, particularly for newcomers and those who are not used to Canada's cold weather. Moreover, I bought a M size (I'm 175 cm, 84 Kg), but it was a bit large for me which can let wind goes in.Second, the zipper was defective in the first try, and it concerned me about quality.And lastly, there is only zipper and no button in front, while buttons in less cold weather can be quite useful.Though I really liked the design, I have to return it and buy something that I can trust

My partner ordered this jacket and he is loving it. He is athletic and tall and usually wears Large but could easily go with M for this particular jacket. Even with layers under it is still spacious. So my advice to go one size smaller than your usual size.The jacket is of a high quality and much better than those in retail stores. Arrived within a week.This jacket is warm and would definitely carry you though cold Canadian winter season.

Size M fits perfect for me. Fabric and down are good quality so far. It looks better than what I expected. I'm 5'7 and skinny complexion . Winter should be here in less than 2 months so I'll try to leave a review with regards to cold resistance in Canadian winter.

This parka has held up well in -10C or below weather so far. It's definitely on the long side, and on my 6'2"/175lbs frame it still goes to my knees. Width-wise, it's not the most tapered coat but I also don't feel like I'm swimming in it. Good placement of pockets. Hood can be a bit flip-floppy from side to side I just need to pull it back in place every time I put on the coat.

I can tell it's gonna keep me warm in freezing weather just by looking at itOnly things I don't like is no large inner pockets and the zipper is clunky
