In 2019, I bought a bunch of these string lights (10 or so strands) and hung them across a large uncovered patio. Over the course of less than a year, most if not all bulbs have water in the bottom of them and are discolored with algae/dirt inside the bulbs.These are beautiful lights and I really enjoyed them for the first year but they are not weatherproof. I will have to replace all these bulbs and replacement bulbs are as expensive as the strand if not more. So, if you are hanging these outside, these lights are good for 6 months or so and then expect to replace them.

These are more mood than area lighting as the LED units are very tiny within each bulb.We had trouble with the older version still sold here, but this set seems to be better made.Still a little pricey for what are just plastic globes with multi-colored LED stands stuff inside on lightweight Xmas lighting strings.This review format asks about the REMOTE - there is none sold or advertised for this set.Now we just need the correct replacement bulbs for these stings (the multi-colored ones not the white light standard E12 replacements).

We purchased these lights to be placed inside of our outdoor gazebo. At installation, I noticed one bulb was out. We switched that bulb with one in a different location on the strand so it wouldn't be that noticeable. Last night I noticed that 3 are now burned out. They are not like Christmas lights were you can replace bulbs. I'm worried that they are slowly going to all burn out. We've only had them installed a little over a month so this doesn't bode well.

2 sockets were defective out of the box, doubled checked using light bulbs that worked. Not as bright as expected. These did not come with a remote. I contacted seller who said they would ship new sockets (not sure how that would work) but never came

Did not last a year. Buying new bulbs now bought these last May. Bulbs fill up with water and start going out. Brand new replacement bulbs would not fix. Corrosion inside the sockets. Pretty lights but do not use for outdoors if you want them long term

Perfect for indoor use. Outdoor use however, won’t last a full years season. 3-4 of them have shattered and overtime in bad rains the bulbs collect water that becomes impossible to extract.

These are the best. LED way to go. They are not the offensive light that blares in your eyes. They are perfectly calm.

This product was exactly what I was expecting and exactly what I wanted - super easy to set up on my patio for outdoor lighting - perfect for summer lighting and does not attract bugs!
