ScanPan Low Sauce Pot from Amazon
Scanpan makes great cookware. This low sauce pot is perfect for sauteing everything, for starting a stew or soup. The heavy gauge pot is right for many purposes. Its looks make it OK to take to the table (often done at our house). I have two other Scanpan pots of different sizes, and can't say enough good about the sturdiness, ease of cleaning and usefulness. Well-priced compared to other high-end cookware.

Scanpans are fantastic!
I bought this Scanpan 5 Quart Sauce Pot after first buying the Scanpan Sauce Pan to see if it lived up to what other people were saying about the non-stick and cleaning attributes of the product. My husband and I were blown away by how great the sauce pan cooks (on low heat) and then cleans with ease. No need to scrub as it just wipes clean with soap and water. So I quickly ordered this 5 quart sauce pot. We love it!I am relieved to have found my replacement for those hazardous teflon coated pans which are finally being discontinued. I highly recommend Scanpans to everyone who is looking to do the same.

Holds a lot and fits in my oven!
I was making a recipe that called for frying onions and peppers. I didn't even need oil! Then I just added the rest of the ingredients and put it in the oven. It was so simple! I love that the pan has a lid, too.

One of my favorite pots!
Absolutely love this pot! The size is perfect to cook 2 cups of rice and it’s easy to clean and store. Unfortunately, the company has discontinued this size, but luckily Amazon still has it.

Decent pot while lasts, awful customer support
We all love to cook in our house and instantly fell in love with Scanpan when we bought their frying pans. Assuming that their other items will be of the same quality and feeling confident in Scanpan lifetime warranty, we purchased six more pots from Scanpan Classic and Scanpan Classic Induction lines. They are all QUITE EXPENSIVE, but we thought that it was worth it. WE WERE WRONG.After only a year or so of regular use, the surface on all pots started giving signs of deterioration. Small parts of the surface chipped off here and there. Usually, it happens on the inner side, close to the place where sides are connecting to the bottom or on the bottom itself. We never wash pots and pans in the dishwasher, never use metal utensils, and don't put them hot from the stove under the cold water, so it is not our fault.Strangely enough, it happens only with the pots, and all frying pans are still in great shape even though we use them even more than pots.We tried to contact their customer support and warranty department for a month now with ABSOLUTELY no response, not even an email reply. On top of this, they decided NOT to provide support over the phone at all.Don't be fooled by Scanpan lifetime warranty and look for other non-stick cookware brands like Swiss Diamond.

Excellent for stir-fry
Sauteeing a bunch of veggies in this pan works great, plus, it's easy to toss cooked pasta into the veggies. The nonstick coating works great! Very happy with this pan.
