Pure Original Ingredients Steel Cut Oats (5 lb) Irish Oatmeal, Eco-Friendly Packaging

I've ordered a couple packages of these steel cut oats, and haven't had a problem. The quality was good and the price was reasonable.

I have been ordering these steel cut oats since the pandemic when most bulk aisles shrunk. This is a very flavorful and nutty oat.

I was used to regular rolled oats but was attracted to other reviewer’s comments about nutty texture and taste. Very true. I really like the firmness of this oatmeal which is very filling. My portion size has gone down from what I usually ate with the rolled oats. It does take longer to make, so I’ve been making larger batches that I keep in the fridge for several days of breakfasts. I love adding in nuts, pumpkin seeds, yogurt, and sometimes maple syrup. Very satisfying meal. Heartily recommended!

I've tried several other brands and have stuck with this for some time now. It's been noted in other reviews how the product arrives in a broken package and the oats are all over the place. I had this happen the first two times. Amazon refunded my money with one phone call.

What a great product. They arrived fresh in a sealed bag. Personally I do not like oats yet these are fulfilling and tasty. Best when cooked in the instant pot. A great deal!

After trying real steel cut oats no other kind pleases me. I have used old fashioned oats for years and have tried the fast cooking steel cut oats. However, it is worth the extra cooking time for these steel cut oats. I think the price is a bit too high but I think of it as giving myself a treat, as this is the only thing I have for breakfast besides coffee or tea. The package does not include a recipe. I cook the oats with a ratio of 3 to 1, meaning I use three times as much water as oats.

I was soooooo looking forward to using this product. Received product today 10/29/19 and to discover 'Best Before March 2020' as shown in photo. This product was ordered from Amazon yesterday 10/28/19. Package description reads 100% Gauranteed. Best if used within 2 years of purchase. Looking at my purchase date, the product usage is now 4 months. Cannot give any ratings because not able to use this product. UPDATE :11/3/19 In description on Amazon, it is stated glysophate free. Are there printed information on package to ensure from the grower the validity of this statement. Still actively searching for steel cut oats and decided to review this product again.

Best when cooked slowly. This is a favorite brand.
