The noise canceling feature is minimal at best. It works best when coupled with listening to music or other streaming services. Ambient noise is still an issue but not as much as it would be without the noise canceling feature. The sound quality is excellent and the smaller size works great for my wife.

These headphones do not entirely cancel out outside noise, but what did you expect for the price? The sound quality is excellent and the phones rest comfortably on the ears for an extended amount of time. For 95% of the time they do what I need and I like them.

The comfort is great and sound quality is also very good. The noise cancelation is so so, but the volume and sound quality make up for it. At $70 I'm keeping them!

The design of the ear cups provides an immediate isolation from ambient noise. Works great even without the addition of the electronics. Have not done a thorough examination of the noise reduction software, but these headphones are already doing what I needed.

Just bought these for an international flight. They are smaller size than I expected but thats my fault. They are however a very tight fit and im worried its going to give me a headache on the plane. I only had them on for a couple minutes and i can still feel the pressure in my head from the tightness of the headphones. The noise cancelling feature itself works really well but the sound without noise feature on sounds almost muffled which is a disappointment. Making me wonder if I should have just spend twice the price for something better quality.

These Headphones do what they are supposed to do -- quiet the outside world so you can hear what you want to hear. They also just work as "clatter stoppers" when you just want the noise to go away. I do a lot of airline, train and subway travel, and these headphones have never failed to quiet the din when I needed some quiet. Forget the expensive ones -- these work just as well as those. I have owned four pairs over the years and never a problem (except when I destroy them while traveling/packing). They are well-built and "do the trick".

these are crap. the noise cancellation is virtually nil, the sound quality is mediocre (voices sound muffled, frequency range is terrible), the cable and pads are cheap, and the headband was so painful i had to supplement it with padding from an old Bose pair.Disappointed is not the word.

These headphones work well and are reasonably priced. The only complaint I have is that the headpiece does not have any padding and so the hard plastic against my head can be uncomfortable.
