1883 Routin Roasted Hazelnut Syrup, Glass Bottle, 33.8 Ounce

I recommend to anyone that seeks authentic hazelnut flavoring for their morning coffee - its the best!For the manufacturer. Glass bottles require their optional pumps but this type of syrup tends to clog easily when sugar crystalizes. Please look into it and possibly re-engineer the spout to prevent it :)

Yes yes yes! In every way yes! Nice glass bottle. I noticed if you just look at the title of these, both for 1883 and Amoretto, it says if the bottle is glass or plastic. This is the best I have found (so far)! :)

I love the Organic Hazelnut for my coffee, but they were not available, so I ordered the Toasted Hazelnut (nonorganic) advertised as in glass bottle.I received the item promptly as Amazon usually does, but it was in a plastic bottle. On the back label on the back of the bottle it said “glass bottle”, but the bottle was plastic. I double-checked the Amazon listing and it said “Glass.”I think the vendor must’ve switched from glass to plastic without telling Amazon. The fact that the bottle is labeled “glass“ indicates the manufacturer knows it is important to some customersAmazon refunded my money after I had to call them because I could not ask for a refund via prime, it said “item not eligible for return.” Amazon asked me to show them a photo proving the bottle as plastic “ which I did, and Amazon refunded my money. So I have no problem with Amazon, the manufacturer neglected to advise Amazon or just hoodwinked us. it’s probably the manufacturer.If you really want glass, you might be disappointed. Amazon told me they would check into the matter.

This is a tough review to write because I think whether you love this syrup depends on what you're using it for. We use our syrups mostly for coffee, but my kids also love to drizzle them on ice cream and other desserts.We've tried ALL the syrup brands. And I really do mean all of them. This definitely has the best flavor. I mean, the flavor is absolutely fantastic. It's very nutty and not too sweet. Perfection!Unfortunately, it's thin and really meant only for drinks. Of course, if you're mixing this into cold drinks, you are going to LOVE the thin consistency because it melts in anything. Unfortunately, if you want to drizzle it onto other things like ice cream or desserts, it will not work well.The second best flavor is the Amoretti Hazelnut di Crema, which is really important to note because they have another regular hazelnut that is NOT crema, and it's no good at all. The Amoretti Hazelnut di Crema is almost as tasty as the 1883 Roasted Hazelnut but not quite as tasty. However, the Amoretti syrup is thick and perfect for drizzling onto desserts.TLDR: This is the best flavor but the thin consistency only works for drinks. I recommend a different brand if you want something to drizzle over desserts.

Haven't had an 1883 syrup that I did not like! Their flavors are so mild and so good.

This syrup is great. The glass bottle pours a lot better than the plastic bottle. I’m frustrated that the price went up $4.10 USD since I last ordered. In August I paid $14.89 and now it’s $18.99! How did it go up in price 27% over just a couple of months?

It was a gift and I wasn’t super focused on size. Funny large.
