Great Cast Iron Insert
The media could not be loaded. I love cooking on my cast iron inserts on my grill at home, and needed some sort of insert for my electric grill in our marina boat slip. This is awesome! The first day I seasoned it heavily with olive oil and let it burn off. The next morning I decide to make breakfast on it, and made some amazing blueberry pancakes! The heat distributed evenly, the pancakes cooked to a prefect golden brown with crispy edges! Looking forward to searing steaks and making fajitas on it, as well as a pizza! I’ll be sure to update my review as I use it more.

Great quality and weight.
Perfect for homemade pizza. I also use it on the stovetop to fire homemade flour and corn tortillas. I've used it for yeasted and unleavened flatbread of all kinds. This is like the Swiss army knife of bread making. I looked for a large multipurpose flat pan for ages. So glad I found this one. It's a large enough size to allow a lot of flexibility. You can fit two or three small flatbread or you can make full sized sandwich wraps. If you clean it while it's hot & keep it well oiled, it won't let you down. Also, it has a rim, so you could technically use it as a griddle for flapjacks, grilled cheese, fried eggs, etc. Overall it's a solid piece of kit.

Makes amazing crispy dosas
Got this for the sole purpose of making crispy Indian pan cakes AKA Dosas and it does an amazing job at that. The heat is even on a gas stove and the photos are of the 3rd dosai made in the very first batch after purchase and rinsing clean with water. The 14 inch size makes it easy to make restaurant style big dosas and saves time. Highly recommend.The surface is a bit rough so I was skeptical but was pleasantly wrong and it was well seasoned with no sticking.

Nice even heat, nice iron, slow heatup time!
Another great piece of cast iron cookware, this pizza pan is really great. Its just deep enough to make it great for a thicker crust pizza and its wide enough to give you big slices if you want 'em. It heats really evenly and I've found that with a little seasoning in the oven, is really nonstick compared to some other pizza pans I've used. The only downside is that it takes a little longer to heat-up the pan, so the top of your pizza is going to cook faster than the bottom. This can be re-mediated by either warming the pan up in the over slightly, then transferring the pizza on, or just letting what will be, be. I love this pan, and you will too!

Just buy it!
I ordered two because I make regular and gluten free pizza . After opening them up I washed them and oiled them and made my grandson a gluten free pizza. It came out fantastic. Gluten free crust can be tricky but this pizza came out wonderful. The cast iron is a decent weight just heavy enough to crisp the crust to perfection. I have other camp chef pieces too, the muffin topper, bread pan and pie plate and all are excellent pieces of cast iron. I will be using these pizza pans weekly because Friday is pizza night. My opinion is these are great pizza pans. I would recommend these to any pizza lover that also likes cast iron. I will be using these on the grill when it gets just a little warmer.

Great Quality and Multifunctional Product
This Cast Iron Plato is a Great size, a bit heavy but made very well. Exactly what one would expect from a good quality product. First time use was a home made pizza and the crust was cooked evenly with a crisp bottom, definitely going to Do it again. I also roasted Chile’s and Tomato’s for some salsa, Perfect! Lastly, and the primary reason I bought it was because I needed a larger size comal for warming up those Burrito Size Tortillas. 5 Stars

Great pan!
I've had this pan for nearly two years. We use it almost daily for raw tortillas and also for the occasional pizza (start in oven, finish on stovetop). We've also used it as a flat grill for burgers, steaks and bacon. It's perfectly nonstick for those uses. To clean, I just scrape it with a wood turner. I keep the seasoning fresh with whatever fat I have on hand - rendered animal fat, high-oleic sunflower oil or avocado oil, usually. I also don't usually heat it beyond medium on my gas stove except when searing meat. It's been great!

Great quality
Very pleased with the quality. Bought this for a gift after having been gifted one and it takes homemade pizza to a new level. No more soggy crusts.
