Meets expectations for the price, but would not buy again.
To the credit of these boots, they are rugged for the price point. They need added insoles out of the box as they are too uncomfortable. The leather is very stiff, in 6 months of daily use they never really got any softer. In the end the inside of the boot started falling apart, exposing my feet to rough material these are constructed out of. But the outside still had not shown signs of falling apart, so there's that.Pros- Durable construction on the outside.- Impressively water resistant, especially if you use some waterproofer. Can walk through mud and water all day.- Decent for walking on ice or slippery surfaces compared to some boots in this price range.- Sizing was okay.Cons- Material inside wears down, exposing the inner walls of the boot.- Needs comfortable insoles.- Laces that come with the boots aren't great.- Leather never softens up.- Tongue can be uncomfortable without thick socks.Overall these boots aren't junk, you definitely get what you pay for though. I got them for I think $35 bucks and they lasted me almost the whole winter. Not overly impressed, but I wouldn't say I'm overall disappointed.

Five Stars - I'll tell you why.
I am picky when it comes to boots. Extremely picky. I'm so obsessive over boots that it drives me wife bonkers! I believe in spending good money on boots that are comfortable and durable. I believe that boots should last for a year, or more. My previous boots were at the year and a half mark when they began to fall apart. I was not upset. I really put boots through a lot. So I needed a new pair of boots. But I am not in the position to buy a nice pair yet. I saw these boots for 25 bucks and thought "hey they might just get me a couple of months down the road so what the heck!". I opened the box and was surprised at the quality and appearance of these boots. Besides the faux leather upper, the rest of the boots are very tough! I applied some mink oil and put them to work. Fast forward to over a week later and let me review now. They are great! I have put these things through the ringer and I can tell that they can definitely take the abuse. I put them on at 5:45 every morning and I work 10 hour days doing property management. Then I go home and spend about three more hours doing farm chores. That's a lot of time to have boots on my feet but I really can't complain. I'll say that after three days they did feel a little hard on my soles but I swapped the thin insoles out for a spare pair of Danner's and now they're even better. I've seen other reviews say that they run a little large, which is somewhat true. I recommend two things for that. You should be wearing thicker socks made of merino wool anyway. Your feet will remain dry even if you sweat a lot. And with these boots being water resistant, that is inevitable. I cannot stress that enough. Get the socks, you will thank me later. Secondly, get a decent pair of insoles to replace the thin ones that come with the boots. You already saved a ton of money on the boots anyway, so spend a few more dollars. Now they should fit your feet fine. Your feet will be dry and comfortable in a pair of 25 dollar boots. Help the leather stay healthy with some mink oil and get to work!

Thumbs up!
Let me tell you...these shoes feel absolutely amazing. To me they feel slightly heavy but maybe I'm not use to a shoe made like these. I love the color and the softness of the inside. Its very comfortable for me to wear for a very long time and I usually were inserts inside but I wear these fine without them. I love this boot.

Store brand has a nice cushy in soul and these do not
Ive been wearing these boots for work for about 15 years from a well known brick and mortar business who sells them for about $20 more. These may not be the same brand name but are definitely the same exact design and fit. The only complaint with these vs store brand is the in soul. Store brand has a nice cushy in soul and these do not. They are flat and firm. Feels like you are standing on a flat piece of plywood. Luckily they are removable so your better off buying replacement in souls to address the issue. Otherwise great!

these fit just fine with plenty of room for my feet to grow ...
Fit somewhat large, but that might have been due to an oversight on my part. However, with some tightening and wearing thicker socks, these fit just fine with plenty of room for my feet to grow (I'm still a teenager).Slip resistant, perfect for my job (fast food) and they are incredibly comfortable. Just walking around in them felt great.Definitely would recommend these. They look pretty sweet, too.

Well made, durable, & a great value!
I bought a pair of these for my boyfriend 10 months ago. He is a mechanic, on his feet a lot, & hard on shoes. In the past, we have paid more than twice this price for mid-range name-brand shoes that only lasted 6 months. (Cat, Wolverine, etc.) We would not have tried these if not for the good reviews & low price. I upgraded the insoles right away, so I can not speak to the comfort of the insoles that came with the boot. He normally wears a 9.5 - 10. I purchased 9.5 in these & they were still slightly big but wearable, after adding the slightly larger/ thicker insoles. Overall, I have no complaints & would recommend these to a friend. We are replacing now because they are separating where the toe box meets the sole. Considering that they held up 4 months longer than other brands we've tried, for the price we paid these were well made, durable, & a great value.

Fit as expected per the other reviews.
The reviews stated they fit slightly large and I took that into account when I ordered them, so they fit as expected. Which is just a hair on the loose side, and that's what I was looking for.

seems like quality leather
Fit well, true to size, seems like quality leather, this is my sons and I second pair, I liked his son much I had to purchase a pair also. I wanted a good looking boot that would hold up to working/motorcycle riding and that's what I got. One thing the pictures showing the color brown looks a little darker than in person, in person they are a little lighter than pictures and reddish brown which actually look better to me.
