Alexander Del Rossa Womens Patricia Cotton Nightgown, Long Victorian Sleeveless Sleepwear, Medium White (A0526WHTMD)

This was my first foray into long nightgowns. I ordered a flannel for winter and this cotton one for summer. I find myself wearing this nightgown more and more. I prefer no sleeves!I am 5'4 and approx 150 lbs. I'm a solid medium in everything. I ordered this gown in M and after washing/drying it has remained a roomy M. For me it fits completely as expected. It is just a hair snug across the back lace detail but I have broader than usual shoulders so this is not uncommon. It's not uncomfortable or restrictive and I would order this size again. Length is mid-calf.The cotton is a really pleasant weight but it is still sheer enough that anything other than nude or white underwear shows. I decided to dye mine and it came out super lovely, with the embroidery on the chest and stitching remaining white while the rest took the blue dye. I like it very much!It seems as though a simple white cotton nightgown wouldn't be hard to find and not this pricy but they are. That said, this is a very fine product that should last me a long time.

I have several white cotton Victorian gowns and this one was my first. I feel pretty, comfortable and feminine in this gown as I float through my home before bedtime. The design is perfect and it is soft and washes up easily and well. I feel like I could be in an "Outlander" or "Downton Abbey" episode which is fine with me since I am an Anglophile. They didn't have my XS size, which is fine since I found a long-sleeved Victorian gown with another company, but the available larger size one worked out for me. Thank you!

It's my own fault that it was too large, I ordered a medium despite all the comments that it ran large. I ran it through a HOT wash and it shrank a very little bit. But I like large arm holes for comfort so I am content with it. Nice cotton fabric, embroidery smooth and soft. I did cut out the label because it was irritating, but with a seam ripper it only took a minute. I'm content, but if you want a gown that fits well don't order a size up.

It's hard to find a floor-length, all-cotton, light-weight nightgown, but this one is ideal, in my opinion.Great to lounge around in. So far, it's very durable. I expect it will last maybe 3-5 years. I also like the felinity of its style. I ordered two and are very happy with them.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS NIGHTGOWN. I DID READ REVIEWS AND LISTENED TO WHAT WAS SAID ABOUT SIZE AND ORDER A SIZE SMALLER AND IT FITS PERFECT. THE COTTEN MATERIAL ON THIS GOWN IS HEAVIER AND IT CANNOT BE SEEN THROUGH. DESIGN IS SIMPLE WHICH IS ALL I WAS NEEDING. I HAVE WASHED TWICE AND NOT MUCH SHRINKAGE. IT WILL ONLY GET SOFTER AS IT IS WASHED. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ITEM.

This nightgown is made of 100% cotton and feels like a sheet - which I love. It lasts through 100s of washings and remains like new. It dries quickly. I am only buying another one bc I left mine in a hotel by accident.

I was looking for a long cotton nightgown and I love it. I read other reviews which said the gown ran big so I ordered down one size and it is perfect. I have washed it a few times and will keep doing so until it gets nice and soft. I detected no odor as other reviewers mentioned. It is a very nicely made nightgown and would definitely recommend.

I ordered a size down, knowing this style of gown is usually huge, and it’s a little big. I wear a 12-14, ordered a medium. It’s a beautiful gown & comfortable. I love it but need a cami under it for modesty.

Beautiful, lightweight and comfortable summer nightgown. Depending on the manufacturer, I usually wear a S or M. Since I wanted freedom of movement, especially around the arms, I ordered a M. However, when the gown arrived, I saw I could probably have ordered a S. After washing the gown in hot water, though, it fits perfectly. I will definitely order from this designer/manufacturer again.

I LOVE these nightgowns and have various styles. This one is my favorite though, so I purchased another. Cotton is my fabric of choice for sleepwear (and a lot of other things) , these are cut perfectly, and last forever. Just wash in cold water and hang dry, they dry in a few hours. Some mornings I'm in slo-mo and see no reason to get dressed, so my pretty nightgown becomes a cute little house dress.. works for me.

I am generally a small size, but i ordered a medium and it is perfect. I wanted the fit to be on the roomy side. It is really a pleasure to wear in every respect.

I have worn Eileen West nightgowns for some 20+ years, but decided to try this brand since it looked a lot like Eileen West. The fabric is harsher than Eileen West and the sizes run smaller. I probably will not wear this one again. I will just stick with Eileen West.

I washed the gown in fabric softener and dried it with a dryer sheet but it was still to stiff and Rough. I washed it and dried it again, same softener and sheets but was still too uncomfortable to wear. I am not going to return it but hopefully it will eventually get soft enough to wear.

Love this gown. Comfy and perfect. I love the vintage look and how soft it is. Will definitely purchase more

I love how much fabric is in the body of the nightgown. It is very roomy and this is preferable as I never wake up feeling wrapped up or entangled by it.
